Sheamus Sends Message To WWE Locker Room After Return On 4/15 WWE Raw, Says 'You Don't Want This'

- The show starts with highlights of Drew McIntyre defeating Randy Orton last week on Raw to regain the WWE Championship.

- The men’s Raw Survivor Series team is in the ring with Adam Pearce and Omos, Pearce talks about Drew McIntyre winning the WWE Championship last week and the men’s Survivor Series team’s success last night at WWE Survivor Series ’20. Pearce says the team members should state their case as to why they deserve a title shot, Sheamus congratulates McIntyre on winning the title again before mentioning his past with McIntyre. AJ Styles accuses Sheamus of using the good old boy system to get a title shot, Keith Lee interrupts and he says he pinned the Smackdown team captain last night. Riddle interrupts and he says he should be king now since he defeated King Corbin, Riddle says he wants to win the WWE Championship so he can take McIntyre’s sword. Sheamus gets angry with Riddle because of the nickname Riddle gave him, Braun Strowman gets angry since Pearce addresses him last. Strowman grabs Pearce in a fit of rage and he threatens Pearce of he doesn’t pick him for the title shot, Strowman knocks Pearce over as we go to a commercial break.

- The Hurt Business is shown confronting The New Day earlier today, MVP says The New Day embarrassed themselves and Raw at WWE Survivor Series ’20. The Hurt Business want a tag team title shot and The New Day accept after a heated confrontation.

Raw Tag Team Championships
The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) w/ MVP

The match begins with Benjamin sending Woods into the corner and Woods gets free, Benjamin downs Woods before landing a knee strike to his shoulder. Benjamin follows up by tossing Woods across the ring and then landing a suplex for a near fall, Woods tries fighting back and Benjamin boots him in the face. Benjamin also attacks Kingston with a knee strike as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Benjamin holding Woods in a chin lock. Woods gets free and he nails Benjamin with an arm drag, Kingston tags in and he immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Kingston drops Benjamin before landing a Boom Drop on him, Kingston sets up for Trouble In Paradise and Benjamin avoids it before eating a kick to the face. Kingston goes to the top rope and Benjamin meets him up there, Kingston knocks him off and Alexander interferes to knock Kingston to the arena floor. Benjamin and Kingston get counted out as the referee makes the 10 count while they were battling on the arena floor.

Match Result: Double Count Out

After the match, MVP gets the microphone and he demands the referee restart the match, The New Day agree and the match restarts.

Raw Tag Team Championships
The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) w/ MVP

The match restarts as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Benjamin and Kingston exchanging strikes in the middle of the ring. Kingston backs Benjamin into the corner while landing strikes, Benjamin recovers and he knocks Kingston out of the ring with a back body drop. Benjamin gets Kingston back in the ring while stomping away on him, Alexander tags in and he double teams Kingston with Benjamin for a near fall. Alexander holds Kingston down before getting him in a modified STF, Benjamin tags back in and he stomps on the injured leg of Kingston. Benjamin lands a knee drop onto the injured knee of Kingston before tagging Alexander in, Alexander keeps Kingston down while wrenching away on his leg. Alexander transitions into an Indian death lock against Kingston, Benjamin tags in and he nails Kingston with a knee drop to the face. Benjamin keeps Kingston down while applying a leg lock to him, Benjamin gets up and he nails Kingston with a short arm clothesline. Alexander tags in and he nails the injured leg of Kingston with a drop kick for a near fall, Alexander keeps Kingston down while applying a single leg crab to him.

Benjamin tags back in and he nails a cornered Kingston with more strikes, Kingston dumps Benjamin out of the ring and Alexander prevents his tag to Woods. Kingston nails Benjamin with an SOS for a near fall, Alexander tags in and he quickly nails Kingston with a chop block for a near fall. Alexander reapplies the leg lock to a downed Kingston, Kingston gets free and he manages to tag Woods into the match. Woods quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Woods nails Alexander with a press slam for a near fall. Alexander fights back and he nails Woods with a tornado DDT, Benjamin tags in and he nails Woods with an Olympic Slam for a near fall. Kingston returns and he gets Alexander out of the ring before taking him out with a dive, Woods catches Benjamin in a roll up for a three count.

Winners: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), still the Raw Tag Team Champions

- Charly Caruso interviews Adam Pearce, who says his injuries will go away in a week and he had Braun Strowman escorted out of the building. Pearce says he would fire Strowman if he could, Bobby Lashley appears and he wants to talk business with Pearce.

- Charly Caruso interviews Adam Pearce again, who starts to talk when Randy Orton shows up to talk with him.

- Highlights are shown from last nights women’s Survivor Series match at WWE Survivor Series ’20.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews Lana, who says she is shocked and surprised after last night, which she called the greatest moment of her career. Lana says she wants to live in the moment.

- Charly Caruso interviews Adam Pearce again, who says there will be a six man tournament beginning tonight and the winner faces WWE Champion Drew McIntyre next.

WWE Championship #1 Contender Tournament Opening Round
Riddle vs. Sheamus

The match begins with Riddle looking for a rear naked choke on Sheamus after an argument in the middle of the ring, Sheamus eventually tosses Riddle off of him. Sheamus gets Riddle in a headlock before taking him down, Riddle gets free and he works over the arms of Sheamus. Sheamus gets Riddle in the corner before landing some strikes on him, Sheamus holds Riddle down while working over his arm again. Riddle gets free and he cracks Sheamus with a bunch of strikes, Sheamus recovers and he drops Riddle with a clothesline. Sheamus keeps Riddle down while looking him in a head scissors, Riddle gets free and he goes for the arm bar on Sheamus until Sheamus gets to the ropes. Sheamus leaves the ring and he gets back in before exchanging strikes with Riddle, Sheamus ends the exchange by nailing Riddle with a suplex for a near fall. Sheamus again holds Riddle down while working over his arm, Riddle picks Sheamus up and he cracks him with more strikes. Sheamus fights back and he clotheslines Riddle out of the ring, Sheamus goes for a clothesline from the ring apron and Riddle nails him with a knee strike.

Riddle nails Sheamus with an exploder suplex on the arena floor before getting him back in the ring, Riddle then hits Sheamus with a Broton for a near fall. Sheamus gets to his knees and Riddle attacks him with kicks, Sheamus fights back and he lands strikes on Riddle. Sheamus traps Riddle in the ropes while landing the 10 Beats Of The Bowry, Riddle eventually falls to the arena floor. Riddle gets back in the ring and Sheamus nails him with more strikes, Sheamus then hits Riddle with the Irish Curse back breaker for a near fall. Riddle tries fighting back and Sheamus nails him with a corner spear, Sheamus follows up by sending Riddle into the ring post. Sheamus goes for another corner spear and he winds up crashing into the ring post, Riddle keeps Sheamus on his knees while landing more kicks. Sheamus blocks a kick from Riddle before landing an Alabama slam as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Sheamus working over the arm of Riddle. Riddle gets free and he nails Sheamus with strikes before eating a pump knee strike for a near fall, Sheamus follows up by stomping on the hand of Riddle. Riddle fights back and he knocks Sheamus out of the ring with an overhead kick, Riddle then hits Sheamus with a penalty kick and Floating Bro.

Riddle gets Sheamus in the ring and Sheamus catches him as he leaps off the top rope, Sheamus nails Riddle with a uranage for a near fall. Sheamus keeps Riddle down while stomping away on him, Sheamus gets Riddle in the cloverleaf and Riddle gets to the ropes. Riddle rolls to the ring apron and Sheamus goes after him, Riddle blocks the 10 Beats Of The Bowry to get Sheamus in a rope assisted kimura. Riddle gets back in the ring and Sheamus gets him in a heel hook, Riddle eventually kicks his way to freedom. Riddle goes for a penalty kick and Sheamus avoids it before eating a knee strike for a near fall, Riddle goes to the top rope and Sheamus crotches him. Sheamus goes to the top rope and Riddle knocks him off, Sheamus fights back and he returns to the ropes. Sheamus then hits Riddle with a super White Noise for a near fall, Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick and Riddle avoids it. Sheamus picks Riddle up and Riddle nails him with a headbutt, Sheamus and Riddle exchange roll ups until Sheamus catches Riddle in the cloverleaf. Riddle counters the cloverleaf with a roll up for a three count.

Winner: Riddle

- Lana is walking backstage when she bumps into Asuka, Asuka wonders why Lana wants to challenge her for a championship and Lana says she got things wrong. Asuka says she accepts Lana’s challenge.

- The Firefly Fun House is up next with Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss, Bliss and Wyatt say tonight’s episode is about friendship. Wyatt says friends will always let you down, a frog appears and he tells Bliss to keep her friendship with Nikki Cross. Wyatt then has Bliss destroy Friendship Frog, Wyatt and Bliss hold a moment of silence for Friendship Frog before mocking him as the show comes to an end.

- Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler come to the ring before the Raw Women’s Championship match begins.

Raw Women’s Championship
Asuka (c) vs. Lana

The match begins with Lana nailing Asuka with an arm drag, Lana then gets Asuka in a headlock before rolling her up for a near fall. Asuka recovers and she nails Lana with a pop up knee strike, Asuka falls out of the ring before dumping water on Jax and Baszler. Jax and Baszler attack Asuka to cause a DQ.

Winner: Asuka, by DQ, still the Raw Women’s Champion

After the match, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler continue attacking Asuka before Lana makes the save. Jax gets the microphone before she and Baszler challenge Lana and Asuka to a tag team match.

- R-Truth is doing a Christmas commercial when Drew Gulak attacks him, a fake version of The Fiend appears and he scares Gulak away.

Asuka & Lana vs. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler

The match is joined in progress and we see Baszler and Lana battling in the ring, Jax makes a blind tag and she drops Lana with a hair pull. Jax follows up by tossing Lana across the ring a few times, Jax follows up by nailing Lana with a short arm clothesline. Jax also decides to choke Lana along the middle rope before tossing her out of the ring, Baszler attacks a downed Lana on the arena floor after tagging into the match. Baszler holds Lana down while twisting away on her head, Jax tags in and she nails a cornered Lana with an avalanche. Lana fights back and Jax drives her into the corner, Baszler tags in and she nails a cornered Lana with some strikes. Baszler holds Lana down while pulling up on her leg, Baszler releases the hold before stomping on a downed Lana. Baszler falls out of the ring and Lana tags Asuka into the match, Asuka quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Asuka nails Baszler with a spinning back fist and release German suplex, Asuka then hits Baszler with a sliding head kick for a near fall. Baszler recovers and she levels Asuka with a knee strike for a near fall, Jax attacks Lana on the arena floor.

Lana fights back against Jax before sending her over the announce table, Baszler goes after Lana and Asuka rolls her up for a three count.

Winners: Asuka & Lana

- Riddle is backstage and he bumps into MVP, Riddle says he came to wish Bobby Lashley luck tonight and he shares some business investment ideas with MVP.

- Highlights are shown from Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre at WWE Survivor Series ’20.

WWE Championship #1 Contender Tournament Opening Round
Keith Lee vs. Bobby Lashley w/ MVP

The match begins with Lashley getting backed into the corner by Lee, Lashley gets free and he kicks Lee in the midsection. Lashley looks for a suplex and Lee gets him in a headlock, Lashley gets free and he gets Lee in a headlock of his own. Lee gets free and Lashley tries dropping him with shoulder tackles, Lee corners Lashley while landing some strikes. Lee misses a charge into the corner and Lashley attacks him with a flat liner for a near fall, Lashley goes for The Hurt Lock and Lee avoids it before landing a shoulder tackle. Lee follows up by clotheslining Lashley out of the ring, MVP distracts Lee and Lee goes after him before eating a clothesline from Lashley. Lashley then attacks Lee with a bunch of strikes before sending him into the barricade, Lashley picks up Lee and he sends him into the ring post as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Lashley holding Lee in a kimura, Lashley traps the arm of Lee while attacking him with knee strikes. Lashley then hits Lee with a neck breaker for a near fall, Lashley keeps Lee down while holding him in a chin lock.

Lee gets free and he nails a charging Lashley with a forearm strike, Lashley recovers and he drops a charging Lee with a clothesline. Lashley also nails Lee with a suplex, Lashley goes for The Hurt Lock and Lee avoids it before sending a charging Lashley into the corner. Lee follows up by dropping Lashley with some strikes before landing an avalanche, Lee then knocks Lashley out of the ring after landing a pounce. Lee leaves the ring and he nails Lashley with a running cross body block, MVP shoves Lee into the ring post behind the ref’s back. Lee gets back in the ring and he avoids another Hurt Lock attempt, Lashley goes for a sleeper hold and Lee falls backwards onto him. MVP attacks Lee to cause a DQ.

Winner: Keith Lee, by DQ

- Highlights are shown of the history between Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews Nikki Cross, who says Alexa Bliss gave up on her and their friendship, Cross says she is done trying to help Bliss and she is tired about worrying about their friendship.

Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross

The match begins with Cross trying to help Bliss as Bliss taunts her, Bliss then trips up a charging Cross before leaving the ring. Cross gives chase and Bliss makes it back into the ring, Cross drags Bliss out of the ring before dropping her on the arena floor. Cross gets Bliss back in the ring and she lands multiple strikes on her while she is cornered, Cross follows up by nailing Bliss with some short arm clotheslines. Cross mounts Bliss before smashing her head on the mat, Cross also nails Bliss with a seated senton for a near fall. Cross then nails a cornered Bliss with a running cross body block, Bliss tells Cross that she is sorry and Cross looks confused. Bliss then hits Cross with a Sister Abigail for a three count.

Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles w/ Omos

The match begins with Styles catching Orton in a few roll ups for a few near falls, Orton responds by nailing Styles with a few strikes. Orton stomps away on the leg of a downed Styles, Styles fights back and he nails a cornered Orton with shoulder thrusts. Styles follows up by nailing Orton with a drop kick for a near fall, Orton fights back and he pokes Styles in the eyes before sending him out of the ring. Orton goes after Styles and he nails him with a few strikes before Omos helps, Styles then nails a distracted Orton with a sliding head kick from the ring apron. Styles follows up by dropping Orton on the announce table as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Orton attacking a cornered Styles with a bunch of strikes. Orton drags Styles to the top rope before Styles gets free, Styles trips up Orton before landing a chop block on him. Styles focuses his attack on the injured leg of Orton, Orton starts fighting back and he cracks Styles with a few strikes. Styles goes for a calf crusher and Orton counters by stomping away on him, Orton follows up by dropping Styles on the top rope for a near fall.

Styles escapes a suplex attempt before nailing Orton with a chop block, Orton fights back and he nails Styles with a modified neck breaker for a near fall. Styles escapes a draping DDT attempt before getting Orton in the calf crusher, Orton eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission up. Orton recovers and he nails a charging Styles with a power slam for a near fall, Orton goes for an RKO and Styles avoids it before landing an enziguri that knocks Orton out of the ring. Styles goes to the ring apron and Orton trips him up, The Fiend appears and Orton gets concerned before returning to the ring. Orton blocks a Phenomenal Forearm attempt to hit Styles with a draping DDT, the lights go out and Styles nails Orton with a Phenomenal Forearm when things return to normal for a three count.
