WWE Raw (12/18/23) Results: Three Title Bouts, Miracle On 34th Street Fight, Seth Rollins Speaks

WWE hosted its latest episode of Monday Night Raw on December 18, 2023. This episode featured three championships on the line including Gunther defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against The Miz for the last time.

Plus, Julius and Brutus Creed get their first opportunity to become WWE Tag Team Champions when they take on Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

Seth Rollins will also address his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Drew McIntyre at WWE Monday Night Raw: Day 1.

WWE Raw (12/18/23) Results

- Judgment Day kicks off the show. They run down their big night ahead of them. Rhea Ripley says she put Ivy Nile on notice. Judgment Day ran Monday Night Raw in 2023 and they plan on doing the same thing in 2024.

R-Truth interrupts. He believes he's in the group and that his beat down last week was his initiation. It's decided that his street fight against JD McDonagh will have the added stipulation that the loser will leave Judgment Day.

* Miracle on 34th Street Fight: R-Truth def. JD McDonagh

- Kayden Carter and Katana Chance cut a promo on their Tag Team Championship opportunity tonight.

- Nia Jax comes out to cut a promo. Becky Lynch cuts her off before she can even speak. Nia Jax bails from the ring. She declares for the Royal Rumble from the outside of the ring. Becky Lynch is trying to fight her right now. Jax goads her into thinking they're going to have a match but instead challenges her to a match at WWE Monday Night Raw: Day 1. Becky attacks Jax after Jax says that she's going to put her in the hospital and Becky's daughter is going to ask why she's uglier than usual.

- Kofi Claus is shown giving out toys earlier in the evening. He passes DIY. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa say they want to tag team championship opportunity for Christmas. They get a Jey Uso shirt instead. They then wish The Miz good luck in his Intercontinental Championship match.

- Miz cuts a promo to Jackie Redmond saying that he is a threat to Gunther. Their match is next.

* WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) def. The Miz

- A Creed Brothers vignette is shown.

- Gunther runs into the other members of Imperium backstage. He tells Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser to impress him and that he's going to go away for a few weeks to recharge. Kofi Claus gives them a lump of coal. Kaiser gets mad. There's a staredown and Imperium walks away.

- Shinsuke Nakamura reads the audience the story of The American Nightmare Before Christmas. He was surrounded by a Christmas tree and some milk and cookies. It's essentially just a retelling of everything that's happened between them. In good news, Cody is actually in the building and attacks Shinsuke backstage and they brawl throughout the arena.

- Akira Tozawa is in Adam Pearce's office and he is being asked if he's sure he wants the match he just asked for. He says he is and he leaves. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven show up and ask Adam to cancel the upcoming tag team match. He, of course, declines, and tells them the match is next so they need to head on over to the ring. Bronson Reed is the last to enter the room and says that he knows Adam is planning on a way to find out Gunther's next challenger and says they need to talk.

* WWE Women's Tag Team Championship: Katana Chance & Kayden Carter def. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (c)

- Kayden & Katana celebrate their victory and head out with Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Tegan Nox, and Natalya hang behind and say that they're going to need new challengers.

- Ivy Nile says she's asked Adam Pearce for a match with Rhea Ripley. Akira Tozawa reveals he has a match next with Ivar.

* Ivar def. Akira Tozawa

- A video package recaps what happened last week between Seth Rollins and CM Punk.

- Seth Rollins comes to the ring. He says after last week's confrontation with CM Punk he's more motivated than ever to prove that he's the best World Champion in the industry. He's about to put over Drew McIntyre as an opponent, but McIntyre interrupts him. McIntyre congratulates Seth Rollins for standing up to CM Punk and tells an emotional story about the sacrifices he's made to live his dream. McIntyre believes that Seth Rollins can relate to this because he is married to Becky Lynch who has been through the same struggles. Rollins says he and the people are not sure how to feel about Drew. He then makes the mistake of saying he feels pity for Drew McIntyre and Drew beats him up.

- Cody Rhodes wishes Julius and Brutus Creed good luck backstage.

- We get one more appearance from Kofi Claus. This time Kofi gets jumped by Imperium. Jey Uso makes the save. This leads to Ludwig Kaiser vs. Jey Uso.

* Jey Uso def. Ludwig Kaiser

- Judgment Day is in their clubhouse. They tell JD he's not actually out of the group... Yet. Ripley says she's facing Ivy Nile at WWE Day 1.
