WWE Raw (1/22/24) Results: Seth Rollins Addresses His Future, Cody Rhodes And CM Punk Confrontation

WWE hosted its latest episode of Monday Night Raw on January 22. This episode featured Seth Rollins addressing his future. Cody, Rhodes and CM Punk came face-to-face, and much more.

WWE Raw (1/22/24) Results

- Seth Rollins kicked off the show and spoke about his knee injury. He said the injury made him feel helpless. He confirms the Fightful report that he has a torn MCL and a torn meniscus. He says he's taking his issues day by day. Imperium interrupts him. Gunther says that they've been avoiding each other but now is the time for him to tell him what he really thinks. Gunther credits Seth Rollins as a fighting champion but his injury tugs at his heartstrings. He says that he's sad Seth might not make it to WrestleMania.

Seth says he doesn't give a damn about doctors, he doesn't give a damn how hard he has to rehab, and he's making it to WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion. He also says he's going to do everything in his power to walk out of WrestleMania as the champion.

Gunther says he respects that and then he promises to win the Royal Rumble and then he's going to choose Seth Rollins to face at WrestleMania. He says he's going to target Seth's knee and his back and then do everything he can to become the new World Champion.

They shake hands and this scene bleeds into the next match as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods come out of nowhere to attack Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

* Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) ended in a no-contest. All four men brawled in the crowd and the bra only ended when all four men flew off of a tech platform through a table.

- Damian Priest argues with Rhea Ripley backstage. Ripley informs everyone that Judgment Day will defend the Tag Team titles next week against DIY. Ripley then yelled at the other members of Judgment Day for DIY not being handled.

* Ivy Nile def. Valhalla

- Backstage, New Day and Jey Uso talk to Jackie Redmond. Last week, Kofi Kingston challenged GUNTHER to a bout for the Intercontinental Championship as Damage CTRL strolled by in the background.

- Nia Jax came out to the ring and said that she is going to break Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley's hearts by winning the Royal Rumble. Becky interrupts her. Bayley interrupts them she ends up getting physical with both women. Nia tosses Becky out of the ring. She then drops a leg drop on Bayley.

* Dominik Mysterio (w/ JD McDonagh & Finn Balor) def. The Miz

- Damian Priests hypes his matchup with Drew McIntyre.

* Ivar def. Chad Gable

- CM Punk and Cody Rhodes head to the ring for their confrontation. Punk reflected on being asked by Dusty Rhodes to watch over Cody in OVW. CM Punk says he's proud of Cody. However, Punk says he has to break Cody's heart on Saturday. Punk says as the son of a workingman, he's more akin to the American Dream than Cody. Cody says he took the torch from Punk when he left and he's more Punk than him. They both said they're gonna win the Rumble. There's a staredown and they leave.

- A 40 years of Hulkamania vignette airs.

* Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark def. Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae

- After the match, Carter and Chance get in the ring to stare down Baszler and Stark. Asuka and Kairi Sane suddenly appear out of nowhere and surprise them as Dakota Kai looks on.

* Drew McIntyre def. Damian Priest
