WWE Raw (1/29/24) Results: Cody Rhodes And Bayley React To Royal Rumble Wins, CM Punk Update, More

WWE hosted its latest episode of Monday Night Raw on January 29, 2024. This episode centers around the Fallout from the 2024 Royal Rumble. Both winners of the Royal Rumble Matches, Bayley and Cody Rhodes will be in attendance. There will be an update on the future of CM Punk as well.

Also, Judgment Day's Damian Priest & Finn Balor are set to defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa, DIY. Kofi Kingston will also challenge Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Title.

WWE Raw (1/29/24) Results

- Pat McAfee came out to start the show, and it was announced that he and Michael Cole would call the action every Monday night moving forward.

- CM Punk comes out with his arm in a sling. He announces that he's injured he says he's beginning to feel like his dream of headlining WrestleMania will never happen. However, he says he's going to keep fighting for his fans and he promises them that he will make it to the main event of WrestleMania because there is always next year. Drew McIntyre interrupts him. He tells CM Punk that he prayed for him to be injured and teases that he's going to go to Main Event WrestleMania and live his dream again. A brawl ensues with McIntyre getting the better of Punker and attacking the injured arm. Sami Zayn came out to save CM Punk

- Judgment Day hangs out in their clubhouse. Their match against DIY is next. We flash to a promo from DIY.

* Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) (c) def. DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano)

- After the match, Judgment Day called out R-Truth. They promised to apologize to him but they beat him up. The Miz came to save him but he got beaten up as well.

* Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark def. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven

- Cody Rhodes comes out to address the crowd. He's about to go with Roman Reigns for his WrestleMania opponent. Seth Rollins comes out to stop him. Seth Rollins gives an impassioned plea about the World Heavyweight Championship being the workhorse championship and says that Cody Rhodes should choose him so that they can show they don't need Roman Reigns anymore. Cody says he'll think about it.

* Jey Uso def. Bronson Reed

- Highlights are shown of Andrade returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble. He is then shown signing a Monday Night Raw contract with Adam Pearce. Nick Aldis comes into the room. Adam brags about his new signing. Nick says they need to talk about the Elimination Chamber and excuses himself claiming that he's got a phone call and coming from Bron Breakker.

* WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) def. Kofi Kingston

- After the match, Xavier Woods checks on Kofi Kingston. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci come out and beat up New Day as Gunther approves from the outside.

* The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) def. Natalya & Tegan Nox

- Bayley makes her way to the ring. She brags about her Royal Rumble victory. Rhea Ripley interrupts but as she is addressing Damage CTRL she gets attacked by Nia Jax. Jax then tells Bayley, who was quickly deserted by the other members of Damage CTRL, that she can choose anybody else but Rhea is not going to make it to WrestleMania as champion

* Drew McIntyre def. Sami Zayn
