On Monday, April 8, 2024, WWE hosted a new episode of Monday Night Raw on the USA Network.

This week's episode features The Fallout of WWE WrestleMania XL as Cody Rhodes is finally the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. It is the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania and it's guaranteed to be memorable.

WWE Raw (4/8/24) Results

- Triple H kicks off the show. He thanks the audience for a tremendous WrestleMania weekend. He says we are in a new era and then introduces Cody Rhodes as the leader of the new era. Hunter plays a very sentimental video package for Cody. Cody asked Philadelphia what they want to talk about. Cody thanked Roman Reigns for all that he done.

The Rock interrupts Cody and the crowd let him have it for several minutes. The Rock eventually tells Cody he wants to hold his championship and says that even though Cody's story with Roman is over, his story with Rock is just beginning. The rock says he's going away for a while, but when he comes back, he's coming for Cody. The Rock Gives Cody Rhodes a mystery gift and tells Cody not to break his heart ever again.

* Ilja Dragunov def. Shinsuke Nakamura

- Judgment Day are out. JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio introduce Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest as their respective World Champions. Awesome Truth interrupts the ceremony and says that they wanna have a six-man tag against the non-champions of the group. R-Truth says that their partner will be somebody you can't see. The match starts as a handicap scenario.

* John Cena, R-Truth, & The Miz def. Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio)

- Cena shows up at the very end and scores the win.

- Bronson Reed promo airs.

- Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are talking backstage and Ripley tells him he needs to handle his business with Andrade. Mysterio goes to talk to Adam Pearce and this is the open door for Liv Morgan to attack Ripley backstage.

* Roxanne Perez def. Indi Hartwell

- Backstage, Natalya tells Roxanne that she will see her tomorrow on NXT.

- Sami Zayn cuts a promo thinking of the audience for helping him win the Intercontinental Championship. He's interrupted by Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. They circle the ring but Chad Gable comes to help out Sami.

- A Sheamus return vignette is played.

* Chad Gable & Sami Zayn def. Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)

- Chelsea Green and there's a room where all three WWE general managers are talking. She's mad she didn't get a WrestleMania moment. Adam Pearce tells her if she goes to the ring right now she will have a very special moment awaiting her.

* Jade Cargill def. Chelsea Green

- Drew McIntyre is out for the main event. He cuts a promo saying that he would only Champion for 5 minutes and 46 seconds and he blames CM Punk for all of it. He says that Damian Priest is merely a transitional champion and that once he gets his title back, it's over.

* Fatal 4-Way to determine the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship: Jey Uso def. Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, and Bronson Reed

- CM Punk appeared and grabbed Drew McIntyre's leg before he could hit Jey Uso with a Claymore, this led to Jey Uso getting the victory and CM Punk celebrating as the show went off the air.
