Live Coverage

- The show kicks off with Finn Balor entering the arena. There's been a recap package from last week showing CM Punk costing Seth Rollins the World Heavyweight Championship, and CM Punk now kicks off the show with a live mic for the first time since WrestleMania.

- CM Punk addressed the crowd in Louisville, saying he is most upset with himself because he and Paul Heyman have been down this road before. He briefly discussed Heyman turning on him in 2013, but said he thought they'd grown as people. Heyman interrupted him, and while it seemed like he was going to walk out by himself, he was quickly flanked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Rollins called Punk selfish and said he had a victim complex before sending Breakker to the ring to fight Punk. Punk was outnumbered but eventually fought back. When the numbers game retook hold, Sami Zayn came out to make the save, and eventually Jey Uso did as well. Losing the numbers advantage, Rollins and company left the ring.

- A recap package showed El Grande Americano costing Penta the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Backlash. Penta versus Chad Gable is next.

- Pat McAfee, who was not ringside with Cole at the show's start, made a complete entrance before the next match after the competitors had already entered the ring.

* Penta def. Chad Gable

- In the Judgment Day Clubhouse, Finn Balor is talking to JD McDonagh while Carlito tries to convince Raquel Rodriguez that they can hang out more, even offering to go out with her and be so gracious as to let her pay. Dominik Mysterio is walking into the frame on the phone with Liv Morgan. He tells everybody her movie is going great, but appears confused about the time zones. Mysterio talks to Finn about hesitating to help him at WWE Backlash. Then, Finn accuses Dom of getting paranoid like Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest did when they became singles champions. He promised to take care of AJ Styles for him and left to get ready. The rest of the group began explaining to Mysterio how time zones work.

- There's a recap package of Pat McAfee vs. Gunther. McAfee says he's still bruised from the match. He even popped a blood vessel in his eye. He says he has even more respect for Gunther now than he did before.

- Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods come out to the ringside area. While on commentary, they will watch the next match between War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) and American Made (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed).

- They officially announced that CM Punk will team with Sami Zayn against Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. Punk and Zayn are briefly shown in the locker room talking about the match. Punk says he's having a hard time trusting people right now, and Zayn says he understands that because he had a hard time trusting CM Punk back at WWE Survivor Series, but it worked out well for them. They both agree that they won't be able to accomplish anything individually until Seth Rollins' coalition is out of their way.

* American Made (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) def. War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)

- Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods got involved, distracting the War Raiders and leading to the Creed Brothers picking up the victory.

- Seth Rollins is talking to Bron Breakker backstage and says CM Punk and Sami Zayn probably think they have them on the ropes, but they're one step ahead. Rollins also whispers something he wants Breakker to do before the night's end. He tells him to have fun.

- Adam Pearce is informing Jey Uso of something. He says he will hear it later in the night, but he wants Uso to hear it first.

- They set up Sheamus versus Grayson Waller for next week during a commercial break. Cathy Kelley interviewed A-Town Down Under during an international exclusive clip. Waller tried to say that he got Austin Theory a rematch with Sheamus for next week, but Theory was one step ahead of him and said that he also spoke to Adam Pearce and made it so that Waller will be the one fighting Sheamus next week.

- Jey Uso comes out to address everything he's got going on, including Logan Paul and their World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. Uso is cutting a promo on Logan Paul and is interrupted by Gunther. Gunther announces that he will challenge the winner of the match between Logan Paul and Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship on the episode of Monday Night Raw after WWE Money in the Bank on June 9 from Phoenix. He says he hopes he ends up facing Uso so he can remind him of his place. Uso says he knows his place and will walk out of Phoenix with the World Championship.

- There's a tribute to Sabu.

- During a commercial break, they announced it would be War Raiders vs. American Made vs. New Day for the World Tag Team Championship. The War Raiders were in Adam Pearce's office complaining about how they lost the match earlier in the night. New Day came in to make fun of them, and Pearce said that the referee's decision is final and that it would be the Creed Brothers challenging for the World Tag Team Championship. However, because Kofi and Xavier are so much of a pain, Pearce said he will add Erik and Ivar to that match. They did not announce when the bout would take place.

- Bron Breakker was shown taking out Jey Uso backstage as Jackie Redmond was trying to interview Ludwig Kaiser.

* AJ Styles def. Finn Balor

- Penta appeared to even the odds for AJ and take out the Judgment Day members at ringside, using JD McDonagh as a launchpad to deliver a Mexican Destroyer to Carlito.

- Becky Lynch addresses losing to Lyra Valkyria and attacking her after the match at WWE Backlash. She says she walked away from WWE for almost a year because the fans asked her to. She says she heard the comments when she won the Women's World Championship last year. She says a friend asked her if she missed wrestling while away. She admitted that she did, but she liked herself more away from the mental grip of the audience. Now, whatever anyone says about her, she will lean into it, and the rest of the women's locker room will find out what it's like to be held down by The Man.

- There is a Rusev vignette in which he says it hurt him to do what he did to Otis, but lesser individuals once held him back. He thinks it will hurt him to continue hurting his brothers, but he will save them from falling into the abyss.

- Akira Tozawa is seen in Adam Pearce's office. He wants a match with Rusev, but Adam informs the world that Tozawa is sidelined. They will consider a match between him and Rusev once he is cleared to compete. Sheamus comes up and tries encouraging Tozawa, saying he will give Rusev Hell once he can. Sheamus then sets up the match mentioned earlier between himself and Grayson Waller for next week.

* IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley def. Roxanne Perez & Giulia
