WWE Raw (9/18/23) Results

- Cody Rhodes asks the crowd what they want to talk about to start the show. He is quickly interrupted by Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio announces that Ripley is not here tonight. Cody Rhodes makes fun of their relationship. Finn Balor and Damian Priest head to ringside.

- Dragon Lee of NXT is in the audience. He will make his main roster debut next week, challenging Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship.

* Cody Rhodes def. Dominik Mysterio

- After Judgment Day tries to jump in the ring. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens immediately come out to even the odds. Judgment Day bails.

- Kevin Owens wants to talk to Cody Rhodes about his decision to bring Jey Uso to Monday Night Raw. Both Cody and Sami implore Kevin to give Uso another chance. Kevin Owens says he'll do his best to forget that Jey Uso is the reason they are both not WWE Undisputed World Champion.

* Kofi Kingston def. Ivar

- While the above match was supposed to be a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Tag Team Match, Erik cannot compete.

- Ricochet cuts a promo on his upcoming match with Shinsuke Nakamura.

- Nakamura makes his entrance, but Seth Rollins comes down to confront him.

- Shinsuke Nakamura def. Ricochet by DQ. When Ricochet uses a chair.

- Nakamura swings a chair at Ricochet's leg. Upon Rollins making the save, he and Shinsuke start to fight. Nakamura would target the injured back of Rollins. Rollins winds up in the trainer's room.

* Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark ends in a no-contest as Nia Jax arrives and attacks all four women.

- Backstage Damian Priest confronted Jey Uso and became the latest number of Judgment Day to convince him to join the group.

- Backstage, Chad Gable requests another opportunity at Gunther and the Intercontinental Championship, but Adam Pearce tells him he's had the shot he wanted. Bronson Reed appears and tells Gable to make his way to the end of the line.

* Bronson Reed def. Chad Gable

- Tommaso Ciampa cuts a promo backstage.

- Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are arguing about Jey Uso backstage. Jey Uso comes around and tells Kevin Owens he can say whatever he has to say to his face. Both men are expecting Uso to decide whether or not he joins Judgment Day tonight.

- Becky Lynch hits the ring. She says winning the NXT Women's Championship was not on her bingo card for the year, but she's learned that she needs to embrace opportunities. She wants to defend the title and take it to new heights. She'll be on NXT tomorrow, but she wants to defend tonight. Enter Natalya. They bicker about whether or not Becky is stealing opportunities from others, and a match is made for the championship for right now.

* NXT Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) def. Natalya

- Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee have a face-to-face confrontation in Adam Pearce's office ahead of their match next week.

* Tommaso Ciampa def. Giovanni Vinci

- Backstage, Gunther is shown watching Vinci tap out. Ludwig Kaiser looks disgusted with Vinci for tapping out.

- Drew McIntyre, with sword, is shown getting ready for his match with Jey Uso.

- Seth Rollins tells Byron Saxton he is losing his mind over Shinsuke Nakamura. He says he's taking his hands off the wheel and putting the ball in Nakamura's court. Seth says Nakamura can name the time, the place, and the stipulation, but he's offering him a chance to write his legacy before Seth does it for him.

- A video package plays, hyping and explaining tonight's main event.

* Drew McIntyre def. Jey Uso.

- Judgment Day comes down to help Uso. He eventually Superkicks all of them but gets caught with a Claymore for his trouble. After the match, Judgment Day tries to attack Uso, but Cody Rhodes comes down to make the save.
