Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE RAW!
- We open tonight's show with a recap of last night's Elimination Chamber where The Miz shocked the world and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become a two time WWE champion.
- John Morrison is in the ring to introduce the newly crowned WWE champion as Miz comes out to the ring for tonight's edition of Miz TV where Miz says that he's proven all of the haters wrong his entire career in WWE. Miz says that he's taken out Batista, John Cena, Triple H and more and that he called his shot and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Miz says that he is a main event Superstar and the only two time grand slam champion in the business before he's interrupted by The Hurt Business' Bobby Lashley and MVP. Bobby and MVP make their way out to the ring with MVP still using a crutch before MVP congratulates Miz and points out that Miz left out Bobby helping him win the title. MVP says that part of their agreement is that Miz owes Bobby a title shot before Miz says that he didn't say when he will get the match.
Bobby then tells Miz that he has one hour to make a decision and that one way or another he's going to take the WWE Championship from him.
- Backstage The Lucha House Party congratulate Riddle on becoming the new United States champion before Riddle goes off on a random tangent as LHP try to leave. Riddle then says that he's named his belt Travis before grabbing a scooter and scooting away as we go to commercial.
Riddle vs John Morrison
Riddle takes John onto the mat before transitioning from one submission to another before they exchange strikes and Riddle hits a gut wrench suplex. John and Riddle exchange forearms before John pokes Riddle in the eye and takes him down before locking in a dragon sleeper. John knocks Riddle off of the apron before hitting a corkscrew cross body onto Riddle onto the floor before tossing Riddle back inside and they exchange on the apron. Riddle then suplexes John onto the apron as we go to commercial.
We come back to John in control of Riddle back in the ring before Riddle comes back with forearms in the corner and John rolls out of the ring before Riddle hits a springboard Floating Bro. Back inside Riddle gets a near fall off of a bridging German before John hits a Spanish fly off of the second rope for a near fall. Riddle then counters Moonlight Drive into a BTS before John hits a sliding knee and Riddle grabs John off of the top when he's going to go for Starship Pain before pinning John with Bro-Derek.
Winner: Riddle defeats John Morrison via pinfall.
- We get a graphic for the count down until Miz has to make his decision before we get a video package for Rhea Ripley who is debuting soon as we go to commercial.
- We come back to a backstage interview with Bad Bunny and Damian Priest before R-Truth shows up and confuses Bad with Bugs Bunny. Truth talks about how he helped Michael Jordan beat the Monstars in Space Jam before Damian tells him that he's Bad Bunny, not Bugs Bunny before Truth runs off.
- Backstage Miz complains to Adam Pearce about what Bobby is making him do before Adam says that Miz should take on all comers and that he made a deal with Bobby and MVP.
New Day vs Retribution (Mace & T-Bar w/ Ali, Slapjack & Reckoning)
Mace starts the match off with Xavier before T-Bar and Kofi come in and Kofi gets dropped before T-Bar sends Xavier off of the apron and Retribution hit a double chokeslam to Kofi. Xavier then low bridges T-Bar and sends him to the outside before Kofi pins Mace with Trouble in Paradise for the win.
Winner: New Day defeat Retribution via pinfall.
- We see MVP and Bobby making their way out to the ring to await Miz's decision as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the ring to Miz, John and Bobby in the ring with Adam before Miz says that he needs more time and wants to be at his best when he defends against him. Miz tries to delay the match by a week before they're interrupted by Braun Strowman who gets into the ring and says that he's getting a title shot before Bobby. Miz tries to instigate a fight between Braun and Bobby before Shane McMahon comes out and reprimands Braun for thinking he can demand a title match. Shane says that Braun was never a WWE champion before Braun says that everyone and everything sucks before demanding a title match tonight. Shane says that Braun's idea sucks before Braun asks to face Bobby if he can't face Miz before saying that if Braun can beat Bobby, Miz will have to defend his WWE Championship in a triple threat next week.
Bobby then chop blocks Braun when his back is turned before Bobby and MVP leave up the ramp as Bobby and Braun have a stare down as we go to commercial.
The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) vs Lucha House Party
Everyone brawls before Cedric drops Lince for two before THB take control and beat down the luchadores before sending Lince out of the ring. Shelton and Cedric double up on Metalik before Shelton hits a powerbomb for a two count that Lince breaks up. Cedric chokes and stomps Lince in the corner before Lince superkicks Cedric and hits an enzuigiri before Metalik hits a tornado DDT into a splash by Lince for a near fall. Shelton then pins Lince with Pay Dirt once Cedric takes out Metalik for the win.
Winner: The Hurt Business defeat Lucha House Party via pinfall.
Damian Priest (w/ Bad Bunny) vs Angel Garza
Damian immediately hits Angel with a clothesline for an early near fall before hitting a jumping back elbow for two before Angel sends Damian face first into the turnbuckle. Angel clotheslines Damian and stomps him while yelling at Bad at ringside before hitting a low dropkick into a running boot in the corner. Angel locks in a straight armbar before transitioning into a camel clutch and Damian powers to his feet before hitting a roundhouse kick. Angel hits a jumping back elbow in the corner before hitting the Broken Arrow for a near fall before Angel clotheslines Damian over the top rope. Angel and Bad then exchange words before Angel invites Bad into the ring and Damian hits a diving spin kick off of the top before hitting Hit the Lights for the pin and the win.
Winner: Damian Priest defeats Angel Garza via pinfall.
- After the match Damian helps Bad fight off everyone who's in pursuit of the 24/7 title.
- We get a recap of Alexa Bliss costing Randy Orton his match last week before we get a backstage promo by Randy who says that he should have won the gauntlet match and entered the Elimination Chamber match last. Randy says that he's taken care of The Fiend and he won't be coming back before he coughs and says that he's now focused on Alexa Bliss. Randy then starts coughing harder before he coughs up a black substance and stumbles off camera.
- We get a recap of Lacey Evans announcing that she's pregnant last week after losing her match against Charlotte and Asuka.
Charlotte & Asuka vs Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
Shayna and Asuka lock up before exchanging wrist locks and Asuka takes Shayna down before she gets to her feet and Asuka drags Shayna to the corner. Charlotte comes in and gets rocked by strikes from Nia before Charlotte comes back and clears the ring with Asuka as we go to commercial.
We come back to Asuka being isolated in the corner before she gets the hot tag to Charlotte who stomps Shayna and Shayna starts kicking her legs. Shayna pulls Charlotte to the corner before Charlotte counters a double suplex and gets powerbombed by Nia for a near fall. Nia locks in a rear chin lock before Shayna controls Charlotte on the mat before Nia comes back in and Charlotte knocks Shayna off of the apron. Shayna rushes in and knocks Asuka off of the apron before Nia hits Charlotte with a leg drop and gets the hot tag to Asuka. Asuka hits running moves in opposite corners before locking in an armbar that Shayna breaks up before Charlotte accidentally boot Asuka.
Charlotte then sends Shayna out of the ring before Nia pins Asuka with a leg drop.
Winner: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeat Asuka and Charlotte Flair via pinfall.
Jeff Hardy vs Sheamus
Sheamus runs over Jeff before Jeff sends him out of the ring and Sheamus is quick to get back inside before Jeff stomps Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus then drops Jeff with a bicycle kick before Jeff hits a wrecking ball dropkick and a running spin kick off of the steps as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Sheamus beating on Jeff back inside the ring before Jeff comes back with a Whisper in the Wind and a splash off of the second rope for two. Jeff then hits a Twist of Fate before ducking a Brogue Kick before Sheamus hits it on the second attempt for the pin and the win.
Winner: Sheamus defeats Jeff Hardy via pinfall.
- Backstage Charlotte talks to her father about how she's protecting their family's legacy before she tells Ric to go home and thanks him for everything he's done for her. Charlotte then tells Ric that she needs to do things on her own and forge her own legacy before telling him that she loves him and nearly starts crying before she leaves.
Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke vs Lana & Naomi
We come back from the break to the match already in progress as Lana and Naomi take control early before Lana hits Dana with a bulldog for two before Mandy gets the hot tag and hits a diving knee for two before Lana tags in Naomi and they hit a double team X-Factor for the pin and the win.
Winner: Lana and Naomi defeat Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke via pinfall.
AJ Styles (w/ Omos) vs Ricochet
Ricochet slams AJ before AJ suplexes him into the corner before locking in a rear chin lock and Ricochet counters a powerbomb into a head scissors for two. Ricochet then hits a half and half suplex for two before AJ drops him with a knee and hits the Styles Clash for the pin and the win.
Winner: AJ Styles defeats Ricochet via pinfall.
- Backstage The Miz and John Morrison discuss their strategy for Miz's title defense next week before Braun walks up and scares them off as we go to commercial.
Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP)
The Miz makes his way down to ringside before the match starts before they lock up and spin around the ring until Braun backs off for a clean break. Bobby rocks Braun before Braun throws Bobby down and punches him in mount and elbows in the corner before hitting a running splash. Braun sends Bobby out of the ring before Bobby dodges a running shoulder tackle and dropkicks the knee of Braun. Bobby hits a flat liner for two before beating on Braun in mount and Braun counters the Hurt Lock and hits a running splash in the corner into a running powerslam for a near fall. Bobby then spears Braun for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley defeats Braun Strowman via pinfall to deny Braun Strowman entry into the WWE Championship match next week.
- After the match Bobby attacks Braun before Miz gets into the ring and gets speared as we go off of the air.
