It has been two days since Survivor Series and Team Smackdown! Live reigning supreme in the main event of the team versus team match against Team RAW and there are more questions than answers. What will be the repercussions for Dean Ambrose turning on AJ in the middle of the match and helping his former Shield brothers powerbomb AJ through a table? What will Shane and Daniel do about Baron Corbin costing Kalisto his match against The Brian Kendrick that had the Cruiserweight division on the line? What's next for The Miz after defeating Sami Zayn this past Sunday? What is the future of the Women's division on Smackdown? These questions and more will be answered so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for all of tonight's action on what should be a jam packed edition of Smackdown! Live!
-We open with a video package recapping the Team RAW versus Team Smackdown! Live 5 on 5 match and then Shane McMahon comes out and gives credit to Team RAW, but says he's happy Smackdown! won. Shane thanks Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt for coming through in the clutch and says he's disappointed about how Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles didn't get along as Dean comes out to the ring. Dean says there's nothing to complain about, but Shane brings up how The Shield killed AJ, but Dean says to focus on the positives and brings out James Ellsworth to praise him for eliminating Braun Strowman, wearing a neck brace. Dean pesters and interrupts Shane then Shane says he's giving James a contract for Smackdown! Live. Shane gives Dean the night off and tells him to leave the building right now. Dean heads up the ramp and is met by AJ Styles who comes out and asks when Smackdown! Live became the land of undeserved opportunity and says that after what Dean did to AJ he should be kicked off of the brand. AJ says James was given and contract and has not earned it and that he deserves a contract and that James doesn't deserve anything. AJ says if James faces AJ tonight in a ladder match and wins he's earned the contract. James says he's beaten AJ twice so he thinks he can a third time and if James win he gets a contract he gets a shot at the WWE World Championship. James says he wants it all or nothing at all then Shane makes it official. AJ leaves, thanking Shane then Dean comes out of no where.
-We next go to The Miz and Maryse backstage with Daniel, The Miz saying it's Mizgiving and Daniel puts The Miz in a title match against Kalisto, saying the match is next as we go to commercial.
The Miz vs Kalisto WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
-Shane escorts Dean out of the arena with Kalisto already in the ring.
They exchange wrist locks then Kalisto gets a quick 2 count, rolling him up for two more then sends Miz to the outside, diving through the ropes out onto him as we go to commercial.
The Miz is in control as we come back until Kalisto hits a springboard senton then a tornado for a quick 2 count. Miz goes for a slingshot powerbomb, but Kalisto turns it into a slingshot huricanrrana, getting another quick 2 count. Kalisto goes to the top rope then Baron Corbin distracts him, Miz hitting the Skull Crushing Finale for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Miz via pinfall with the Skull Crushing Finale
-After the match Corbin hits The End of Days to Kalisto then leaves. Miz and Maryse look on on the ramp and Dolph Ziggler superkicks him.
-Alexa, Shane, Becky and Natalya talk backstage then Dean comes back and gives Shane a piece of pizza before leaving then Becky makes a pizza joe as we go to commercial.
-Daniel talks to Corbin in the back and says that actions have consequences as he says that Corbin will face Kane tonight.
Tag Team Turmoil #1 Contender Match
The Ascension and Hype Bros start it off with Konor and VIktor taking out Mojo outside then focuses on Zac. Konor gets a quick 2 count on Zack then tags in Viktor, the two doing frequent tags, but Zack hits a double neckbreaker as Mojo comes in and takes out Viktor then hit the Hype Ryder for the pin. They send Breezango out of the ring as soon as they come out then Zack takes them out as we go to commercial.
The Bros are in control as we come back until Fandango attacks Mojo then Tyler tags him in, hitting a catapult elbow drop for the pin. American Alpha come out next and Fandango gets a quick 2 count immediately on Gable. Fandango hangs him on the top rope then Breeze gets a quick 2 count. Gable rolls Fandango up for the pin as The Vaudevillains come out and they hit a dropkick, German suplex combo on Gotch for the pin. The Usos come out last a lot slower than the other teams were, taking their time and not rushing in like the other teams did. We see Rhyno and Heath watching backstage as they get in the ring, showing a Shaved Rhyno as we go to commercial.
The Usos gained control during the commercial and they hit a double backdrop on Jordan for a quick 2 count, Jey putting a rear headlock on Jordan, but he quickly powers out, only to have Jey knee him and back him into their corner. Jimmy gets in and hits a forearm in the corner for a quick 2 count. They frequently tag in and out then Jimmy holds Jordan as Jey hits him with a superkick to the gut for a quick 2 count then puts a rear chin lock on him. Jordan gets out, but Jey drops him with a right hand before tagging in Jimmy. Jordan sends Jey outside and Jimmy hits the ropes throat first, Jordan tagging in Gable who drops Jey on the apron then hits Jimmy in the corner before hitting a clothesline off the top rope and sending Jey to the outside. Gable hits a bridging German suplex on Jimmy for a close 2 count then goes out after Jimmy, but The Usos sends him in to the ring post. Jimmy hits a backbreaker then Jimmy hits a splash off the top for a close 2 count. Jey goes for a Samoan drop, but Jordan puts Jey in the electric chair then Gable comes off the top rope for an avalanche bulldog for a close 2 count. Gable and Jimmy are sent to the outside then Jey hits a splash off the top rope, but Jordan gets his knees up for a very close 2 count. They hit Grand Amplitude on The Usos then Bray appears on the screen with Randy and Luke. Bray says they haven't faced all the teams because next week Bray and Randy are coming for them.
Winner: American Alpha via pinfall with Grand Amplitude
-We have Daniel and James backstage talking about his match tonight with AJ. James says AJ has more talent in his pinky than James does in his entire body and he's learned that anything can happen. James says any man with two legs can climb a ladder then Dean appears dressed as a Mountie. Shane makes him leave and Dean says he'll tell Shane about why he's dressed like that, but Shane says he'll just leave and he does then Dean says he's leaving. Dean says to Daniel to tell AJ that the Mountie always gets his man as we go to commercial.
Becky Lynch vs Natalya
Natalya is in control early as we have Alexa at ringside, Becky coming back with a series of right hands then gets on the top rope, but Natalya hits a sit out powerbomb for a quick 2 count as we go to commercial.
Natalya has Becky in a submission as we come back, but Becky powers out of it only for Natalya to hit a discus clothesline for a quick 2 count. Natalya stomps on her then hits a Michinoku Driver for another quick 2 count. Becky gets a quick 2 count of her own off of a small package then drops Natalya with a series of lariats then hits a forearm in the corner. Natalya counters the Disarmer for two quick roll ups then Becky hits a suplex that sends Natalya across the ring. Natalya puts her face into the turnbuckle then Natalya goes for a sharpshooter, but Becky counters into the Disarmer for the tap and the win.
Winner: Becky Lynch via submission with the Disarmer
-After the match Alexa comes in and hits a DDT on Becky then leaves.We then get a promo for Black Friday on the WWE shop courtesy of the Hype Bros. They say that you can get belts and anything else 30 percent off tonight only. They then plug the main event as we go to commercial.-Daniel is backstage with The Miz and demands that Dolph gets suspended. Daniel makes an Intercontinental ladder match at TLC. Next we have Nikki and Carmella, Nikki saying Carmella attacked her before their match. Carmella says she didn't do it because she takes credit when she attacks her. Carmella names off a list of people who might have done it and Nikki says they're going to put their feud to an end and at TLC they'll have a no disqualification match.
Kane vs Baron Corbin
Corbin goes after ane and Kane goes for a chokeslam, but Kane hits a big boot then hits Corbin in the corner before Corbin ducks out and Kane goes after him then Kalisto comes off the top rope then leaves, Kane choke slamming him afterwards.
Winner: Kane via disqualification
-After the match Kalisto grabs a chair, but Corbin rolls out of the ring before he can hit him then gets back on the apron and gets hit with a kick against the chair then leaves as we go to commercial.
AJ Styles vs James Ellsworth #1 Contender Ladder Match
AJ attacks James immediately then sends out of the ring, grabbing the ladder and bringing it back into the ring. They fight over the ladder then AJ just beats on James in the ring, hitting a backbreaker then AJ ties his leg into the rung of the ladder. AJ puts him underneath it then climbs the ladder, but Dean dressed as a hockey goalie comes out of no where then they exchange right hands before Dean runs AJ into the ladder then tosses him to the outside. Dean tries to help James get to the ladder, but AJ comes back in and takes out Dean and sends him to the outside then AJ climbs the ladder, but James pushes it over ans sends AJ to the outside. James then hits a superkick when AJ tries to get back in and grabs the contract for the win.
