On November 11, WWE taped matches for WWE Tribute to the Troops 2022 from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, after the SmackDown taping went off the air. The show was billed as the 20th Anniversary of Tribute to the Troops.

It's currently unclear when WWE Tribute to the Troops will air. On the November 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, the broadcast team noted that it would premiere next month.
