WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament Night One Live Viewing Party

This is the Fightful.com live viewing party for the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament! History will be made as WWE crowns their very first UK champion as 16 of the best up and comers in the UK square off at the famous Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, Lancashire, England! Be sure to come back here at 3PM EST for all of the action!

-We open with Triple H in the ring, saying that every empire has a beginning and tonight, the United Kingdom builds theirs. He asks if they're ready. We are then introduced to Nigel McGuinness on the commentary team along with Michael Cole.

Trick Williams: I’m Sick Of Being Disrespected

-We then get a video package for Trent Seven of Moustache Mountain and his opponent H.C. Dyer.

Trent Seven vs H.C. Dyer

They lock up to start the match for a clean break then Trent mocks Dyer before Dyer drops him and sends him to the outside with a dropkick. Dyer goes out after Seven who misses a chop and hits the ring post before Dyer rolls him back into the ring. Dyer misses a splash and Seven hits a series of Satoshi Kojima chops in the corner before running and slapping Dyer in the chest. Seven hits a float-over suplex for a quick 2 count then Dyer gets one of his own with a spinebuster. Dyer then drops Seven with a right hand for a very close 2 count, following up with a variation of a blue thunder bomb for another very close 2 count. Dyer misses a frog splash off the top rope then Seven turns him inside out with The Seven Star Lariat for the pin and the win.

Winner: Trent Seven via pinfall

-We then get a video package for the former NXT superstar Danny Burch and his opponent Jordan Devlin, the protege of Finn Balor. 

Jordan Devlin vs Danny Burch

They exchange wrist locks then Burch suplexes Jordan before dropping him repeatedly. Burch then hits a snap suplex for a quick 2 count then Devlin dropkicks him for a quick 2 count of his own. Jordan hits Burch with a series of strikes in the corner then pulls Burch off the top rope by the ankle for another quick 2 count. They exchange lariats then Burch turns Devlin inside out with one for a very close 2 count. Jordan rolls Burch up for a quick 2 count then Burch hits Devlin with a series of strikes for a quick 2 count. Burch transitions into a cross face, but Jordan is quick to get his foot on the ropes. Jordan then hits a pele kick for the pin and the win. 

Winner: Jordan Devlin via pinfall

-After the match they shake hands and Jordan superkicks Burch. 

-We next get a video package for Saxon Huxley and Sam Gradwell.

Saxon Huxley vs Sam Gradwell

Sam is in control early then Saxon uses Sam's aggressiveness against him to gain the upper hand. Sam then gets a quick 1 count off of a dropkick then Saxon backs him into the corner. Sam then hits Huxley with a series of uppercuts in the corner before dropping him with a clothesline then hits a flying headbutt off the top rope for the pin and the win.

Winner: Sam Gradwell via pinfall

Pete Dunne vs Roy Johnson

Pete is in control early, focusing on the wrist and fingers of Roy while holding him in a headlock. Johnson powers out then mocks Dunne before Dunne locks in a standing guillotine. Johnson powers out and suplexes him then Dunne sends Roy to the floor. Pete then stomps on the hand of Roy when he puts his hand on the steps and stomps on it. Dunne puts Roy back in the ring then bends back the fingers of Roy Pete gets a series of 2 counts then Johnson hits a flapjack before hitting him with a splash in the corner then a shoulder tackle off the second rope. Pete hits an enzuigiri then Roy hits a Samoan drop for a close 2 count. Pete then drops Roy with a right hand for a very close 2 count in mid-air when he comes off the top rope. They exchange strikes then Johnson hits a facebuster for a very close 2 count of his own. Pete then hits a snap German suplex into a release vertical suplex, finishing up with The Bitter End for the pin and the win.

-We then get a video package for Wolfgang and Tyson T-Bone

Tyson T-Bone vs Wolfgang

Tyson headbutts Wolfgang as they shake hands before the match starts then they exchange strikes in the center of the ring. Wolfgang dropkicks Tyson then splashes into him before coming off the top rope for a quick 2 count. Tyson drops Wolfgang with a series of knees for a quick 2 count of his own. Tyson whips Wolfgang into the corner for another quick 2 count then locks in a headlock. Wolfgang gets out then Tyson drops him with a series of kicks to the gut for another quick 2 count. They exchange right hands in the center of the ring then Wolfgang hits a wasteland into a moonsault for a close 2 count. Tyson hits a release German suplex then superkick for a close 2 count of his own before sending Wolfgang out of the ring. Tyson then pushes Wolfgang into the post before Wolfgang gets back into the ring at the count of 8. Wolfgang then hits a swanton bomb for the pin and the win.

-We then get a video package for Joseph Conners and James Drake.

Joseph Conners vs James Drake

They lock up for a clean break then lock up again before exchanging wrist locks. Drake is in control early, then Conners tries to build some offense, but Drake dropkicks him for a quick 2 count. Conners then catches Drake coming in, dropping him with a double foot stomp for a quick 2 count of his own. Conners then hits a drop suplex on Drake for a quick 2 count before pulling him out to the apron and clubbing on his repeatedly. Drake drops Conners with a running forearm then hits him with a series of forearms in the corner. Drake hits an enzuigiri then rolls Conners up for a close 2 count. Conners hits a back elbow into a backbreaker then follows up with DLD for the pin and the win.

-We then get a video package for Mark Andrews and Dan Moloney.

Mark Andrews vs Dan Moloney

Dan is in control early until Mark starts flipping around, Dan unable to keep up. Dan then catches Mark and tosses him into the air before whipping him into the corner for a quick 2 count. Dan stomps on Mark, keeping him grounded then Mark hits a form of a 619 before flipping repeatedly into a roll up into a double foot stomp. Mark hits a double running knee into the corner then a northern lights suplex into a standing moonsault for a close 2 count. Mark hits a huricanrrana that sends Dan to the outside then hits a moonsault to Dan on the floor. Mark puts Dan back in the ring then Dan rolls across the ring. Dan rolls Mark up for a quick 2 count then Dan hits a sit out face buster into a kick to the face for a very close 2 count. Mark then counters a suplex with a stunner into a shooting star press for the pin and the win.

-We then get a video package for Tucker and Tyler Bate

Tucker vs Tyler Bate

They're very even to start the match, both men knowing what the other will do before they do it. Bate then drops Tucker with a left hand for a quick 2 count then Tucker starts flipping around, hitting a back elbow off the top rope for a quick 2 count of his own. Tucker drops Bate with a jumping roundhouse kick then they exchange strikes. Tucker then hits a slingshot STO for a close 2 count then Bate hits a springboard uppercut. Tucker gets a very close 2 count then hits Bate with a running knee before sending him to the floor over the top rope. Tucker goes for a suicide dive, but Bate catches him with a foerarm. Tucker then uses the steps for a head scissor onto the ramp. Bate catches Tucker in mid air then hits an airplane spin into spinebuster for a very close 2 count. Tucker then superkicks Bate out of the ring before rolling him back in for a very close 2 count. Tucker goes for a swanton bomb, but Bate has his knees up then Bate hits a wheel kick into the Tyler Driver 97 for the pin and the win.
