Handicap matches on the main roster and some exciting debuts on NXT highlighted the WWE schedule of live events during the first week of February.
On the Raw tour, the Shield continued to beat the odds in main events with Jason Jordan still sidelined. This past week, it was Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins battling Elias, Cesaro and Sheamus in a series of handicap matches. Smackdown events, meanwhile, were highlighted by rematches of the WWE Title bout at the Royal Rumble, with AJ Styles defending against the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
The biggest news of the week came on the NXT events held in Tennessee, as Candice LeRae worked on the top of the card with her real-life husband Johnny Gargano against Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega. LeRae officially signed with WWE last month. The mixed tags also marked the in-ring debut for Vega since she signed with WWE last year.
