It's back.
IMPACT Wrestling announced that the reverse battle royal will return at IMPACT Slammiversary on Sunday, June 19. The infamous match will take place during the Countdown to Slammiversary show.
Participants for the match have not been announced.
The reverse battle royal was introduced in 2006 as part of the Fight for the Right tournament. The competitors start outside the ring and fight to get into the ring. Once a certain number of competitors enter the ring, the reverse battle royal becomes a traditional battle royal. In the past, when it gets down to the final two competitors, it becomes a singles match.
