Rey Fenix States That He Has Strained His Groin; Taking The Remainder Of 2018 Off

Rey Fenix taking some time off.

Well-traveled Luchadore and one-half of the current MLW World Tag Team Champions Rey Fenix has been all over the wrestling scene in 2018. Fenix was a focal point in the fourth season of Lucha Underground, he worked in CMLL, MLW, IMPACT Wrestling, AAA and had a highly regarded match with the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega at 'Northeast Wrestling's' 'Redemption' show earlier this month.

Fenix goes one-hundred miles whenever he steps into the ring and gives it his all and sometimes that go-hard attitude comes with body mileage. Fenix sent out a message on his Instagram today alerting all promoters and bookers that he will be taking the rest of 2018 off to rest. Fenix shared that he wrestled a very important match for CMLL last night and during the match he strained his groin. He will be fine but has decided to take the month of December off to rest before his eventful 2019.
