A change has seemingly been made to the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match At WWE Super ShowDown.
On WWE Raw, it was mentioned that R-Truth, AJ Styles, United States Champion Andrade, Erick Rowan, Bobby Lashley, and Rey Mysterio will compete in the gauntlet match on Thursday. Mysterio would be a new addition to the bout, taking the place of Rusev, who was originally scheduled for the match. Rusev was still shown on the graphic, but Mysterio was mentioned while Rusev was not.
On social media, Mysterio is listed as one of the six competitors while Rusev is not.
As of this writing, WWE.com is advertising Mysterio on the events page in the graphic, but when you click the graphic for a match preview, Rusev is still listed and advertised as being in the match.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that WWE decided not to use Rusev for the match as he has not agreed on a new contract.
