Rey Mysterio Comments On Aliyah Mysterio’s Wrestling Training, ‘It Scares Me But It Also Excites Me’

Rey Mysterio talks about his daughter’s training sessions.

Back in September 2025, Rey Mysterio was pictured with his daughter, Aliyah, at the Performance Center and Natalya’s training dungeon.

In an interview with Cody Rhodes on the latest episode of What Do You Wanna Talk About that was seemingly recorded in November 2025, Mysterio spoke highly of Aliyah’s work at the Performance Center.

“She went in there on a Wednesday with me and I was like, ‘There’s no way, this is her first time stepping in the ring?’ She had a connection with positioning, hitting the ropes. It was scary crazy. She just went in there with me to feel what it was like, to feel the mat, to feel the ropes. I’m afraid that she might be [a natural] if she decides to take that path.”

After speaking highly about Aliyah’s work at The Dungeon, Mysterio revealed that she’s gearing up for a full week of training at the Performance Center.

“Later on that day, we went to TJ and Nattie’s school and she did a little bit there too. When we finished and the day was over, she was like, ‘I really enjoyed it, this is pretty fun.’ I was like, ‘Okay, okay, okay.’ The next step would be, let’s see if you can go through a full week of training. If you can do that and you like it afterwards, maybe it’s something you might want to think about. I’m actually trying to get her out there pretty soon so she can just feel what it’s like to train everyday. I’ve thought about that and it scares me, but it also excites me.”
