The LWO challenged The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley to settle their unfinished business at WWE Fastlane.
Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, in an effort to prove themselves to Bobby Lashley, attacked Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar following their United States Championship match against one another on the September 29 episode of SmackDown. This led to Bobby Lashley coming out and embracing The Street Profits for their actions before also attacking Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde.
Later, when Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar were in the trainers room, they issued a challenge to Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins for a match at WWE Fastlane.
