Rey Mysterio was pushed too far.
Dominik Mysterio cost Rey Mysterio his match against LA Knight on Friday's WWE SmackDown, and once again asked his father to fight him at WrestleMania 39 before trying to shame him for being a coward.
Rey again turned down the match, opting to leave the ring and walk up the ramp. Dominik began to disrespect his mother and sister, who were sitting ringside, telling his mom to shut up and calling her a "deadbeat mom." Rey had seen enough, walking back to ringside to strike his son.
Rey said that Dominik pushed him to hit him and that if he wanted to fight at WrestleMania, the match was on.

Dominik initially turned on his father at WWE Clash at the Castle, aligning with Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, & Damian Priest). Since then, Dominik has been trying to goad his father into hitting him and fighting him.
