Dominik Mysterio has adopted the cane as his signature weapon in WWE and he's been on both ends of the stick.
On the August 10 episode of WWE Raw, Dominik officially signed his WWE contract. A few moments later, Seth Rollins laid into him with the cane, gaining retribution on Dominik for his cane attacks in the past.
Rollins didn't hold back in the segment and Dominik showed off the bruises after the match.

Some fans were upset over the angle, believing Rollins took things too far as evident by the aftermath.
Speaking with Konnan and Disco Inferno on Keepin It 100, Rey Mysterio addressed the angle.
"When Dominik had to lay it in, he laid it in. I told him, 'You make sure you hit for the fences, swing, swing, swing,' and he did. When he did, two weeks consecutively, I told him, 'Get ready because eventually, it's gonna come back. That's the nature of the business. You hit, and however you hit, it's gonna come back.' It came back. We build a tolerance for our bodies to take that beating on a day to day basis," said Rey.
Dominik healed up just fine as he was able to get into the ring for his first official match this past Sunday at WWE SummerSlam.
