Rey Mysterio is undergoing surgery.
On his Instagram stories, Mysterio announced that he is undergoing surgery for a torn adductor. Mysterio suffered the injury on the WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 41 where he teamed with Dragon Lee & Rey Fenix against American Made (Brutus Creed, Chad Gable & Julius Creed).
The injury forced Mysterio to miss WrestleMania 41. He was scheduled to face El Grande Americano, but was replaced by Fenix. El Grande Americano was victorious in the bout.
It is unknown how long Mysterio will be sidelined. He said he'll update fans when he knows more.
