Rhea Ripley Challenges Natalya To SmackDown Women's Title Match At WWE Night Of Champions

Rhea Ripley lays out the challenge to Natalya for a SmackDown Women's Title Match at Night Of Champions.

The challenge was first made by Ripley in a backstage promo on the May 22 episode of WWE Raw. In the promo, Ripley noted that she's going to make Natalya regret being drafted to Raw, while also threatening to end her career.

Ripley and Natalya have been involved in a number of confrontations in recent weeks.

This will be Ripley's first defense of her SmackDown Women's Championship since the Backlash premium live event, which took place on Saturday, May 6. Ripley won the title at WrestleMania 39 after defeating Charlotte Flair.

Natalya last wrestled at a premium live event back at WrestleMania 39, where she teamed up with Shotzi in a four way women's tag team match against Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green, & Liv Morgan/Raquel Rodriguez.
