Rhea Ripley Says She Turned Down Role In ‘Love Lies Bleeding’, Wants Her First Movie To Be A ‘Terrifier’ Film

Rhea Ripley reveals that she turned down a big role.

Despite being one of the most popular stars in all of wrestling, Ripley has yet to lend her talents to Hollywood. As it turns out, ‘The Eradicator’ has turned down many roles in the past, including a key role in the 2023 film ‘Love Lies Bleeding’.

“I haven’t done a movie yet but I’ve also turned down a lot of movies. I was supposed to be in Love Lies Bleeding, I was supposed to be the bodybuilder chick and I said no.” Ripley told Shakiel Mahjouri in a new interview. “Which then was perfect for me because it skyrocketed the Judgment Day and I made Rhea who she is today and I got to go on that generational run.”

Ripley went on to say that she wants her first movie to be a ‘Terrifier’ film.

“I’m really saving my first movie for Terrifier. So, I’m really hoping that it does happen. I want that to be my first.”

Damien Leone, the ‘Terrifier’ creator, is seemingly open to including Ripley in the franchise’s fourth film. In November 2025, Leone noted that a petition for the cameo role is “not necessary”.

Ripley’s role in ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ ended up going to Katy O’Brian. She has also starred in films like ‘The Running Man’ and ‘Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning’.
