Rhea Ripley looks back on Bianca Belair breaking her finger during their match at WrestleMania 41.
At the event last year, Ripley once again found herself in a world championship bout at the event, challenging for the WWE Women’s World Title along with Bianca Belair against then champion IYO SKY. While SKY would go on to win the match, Ripley and Belair would also have strong showings in the match. However, Belair would come out of the match with a broken finger injury that has kept her out of action to this day.
While speaking to The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show in a new interview, Rhea Ripley looked back on the moment where Belair let her know she had injured her finger in the match.
“Oh, dude, you should have seen it in the match. We hit the ground and I see her turn around and she goes, ‘I think I broke my finger,’ and I was like, ‘oh, that’s not good.’ We were like maybe halfway through. Her ring finger, I believe it was, yeah.”
Independent standout recently noted in an interview that Ripley is her ultimate dream match. You can read more about that here.
