Ric Flair Ends His Podcast

"The Nature Boy" apparently is out of the podcasting game. On Wednesday, the Twitter account associated with Ric Flair's podcast on MLW, The Ric Flair Show, had come to an end.

The show's Twitter account posted the following message:

Nia Jax: I Was Told January 3 Is The International Launch Date For WWE On Netflix, Followed By WWE Raw Premiere

The description for that account now reads, in part, that "Ric has retired from podcasting."

Conrad Thompson, who had been the co-host of the show alongside Flair, posted in response to a question on Twitter that Flair "didn't want to do it" when asked why the podcast was ending.

This marked Flair's second endeavor in the realm of podcasting. His first, Wooo! Nation, ended this past spring because Flair terminated the contract.

A 16-time world heavyweight champion in wrestling, Flair is one of the most renowned and critically acclaimed wrestlers of all time. He also was a founding member of the Four Horsemen stable. His daughter, Charlotte, currently is in her fourth reign as Raw Women's Champion. Flair served as his daughter's manager for the bulk of her first reign as champion on the WWE main roster, until she turned on him on the May 23 episode of Raw. Flair made his return to WWE television this past fall, and "The Nature Boy" last appeared on WWE programming in late December, as part of the continuing rivalry between his daughter and Sasha Banks.
