Ric Flair has high praise for John Cena.
Flair and Cena are two of the most decorated wrestlers in WWE history with both amassing 16 world title victories.
Cena is back in WWE and has a chance to break Flair's record should the bout with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns come to fruition.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Flair discussed Cena's return to the ring.
“John Cena, the man’s a star,” said Flair. “He gave 10 years, every day of his life, to the business, and he is still finding new ways to work hard. John just doesn’t know any other way. It’s been a pleasure to see every piece of work he’s done so far since coming back. John represents WWE at the highest level. I’m as big a John Cena fan as you can find. Look at what’s in store. John working Roman Reigns—that’s going to be special.”
A bout between Cena and Reigns has not been confirmed as Reigns turned down Cena's challenge on WWE SmackDown.
Instead, Reigns accepted the challenge of Finn Balor, though a match between those two has not been made official.
