Ric Flair Says Enjoying The Camaraderie Of Wrestling Is Like A 'Disease' For Him

Ric Flair says he's found the joy of locker room camaraderie again in All Elite Wrestling.

Ric Flair's wrestling career has spanned decades and with him signing a multi-year agreement with AEW, it doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. Speaking about landing back on wrestling television, Flair tells Rich Eisen that he immediately felt that sense of camaraderie that he missed when he was away from the ring.

He also said that when he's on TV, he will be immediately checking the ratings the next day to see how his segments performed in the quarter-hour breakdowns.

"I've found it again here. The day I walked in here, it's the camaraderie. I just love being with the guys. It's almost like a disease with me. I just like being with the guys and I like going on in front of a live audience. I'm right back in the same business where you just want to know the rating. You want to know what your quarter-hour did. It's back in the race. So at five o'clock, you know, whatever day that I'm on, the next day, like I've been doing my whole life, five o'clock, I am looking for the rating and, 'what did my quarter hour do?' It's competition."

Ric Flair hasn't been back on AEW television since his debut on October 25, but he will be by the side of Sting, Darby Allin, and Adam Copeland when they take on Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Luchasaurus at AEW Full Gear.

Flair recently joked that he doesn't go to work without a blade on his finger. Read those comments here.
