Ric Flair Would Love A Woo-Off Sequel With Jay Lethal, Jokes Lethal And Jeff Jarrett Owe Him Money

Ric Flair would like to meet Jay Lethal on the mic once again.

In June 2010, Ric Flair and Jay Lethal battled on the microphone and participated in the famous "Wooo Off" with both men Wooooing back and forth at each other. The promo is still referenced today, and with Flair now joining AEW, the possibly of them doing it again is on the table.

"Oh, I'd love it. I'm a big fan of Jay," Flair told Liam Crowley of ComicBook. "He and [Jeff] Jarrett owe me money! After the last match, [Jarrett] got hired by AEW. What the hell? I should get ten percent of their money (laughs). They're great together. I'm happy for Jeff and I think the world of Jay Lethal, he's one of the most entertaining people in the world. He can do me and ["Macho Man" Randy] Savage better than we could do ourselves."

Flair teamed with Andrade El Idolo to face Jarrett & Lethal in Flair's advertising last match. Jarrett signed with AEW later in the year and was immediately paired with Lethal.

Speaking about the Wooo-Off, Flair said, "I'm not a rehearse guy. I got to hear the crowd. You got to remember we're at [Universal Studios], right? It's not like you're in a hometown crowd. You're not going to get the expected reaction. There's people that are buying a ticket like anything else, to go to an event. It was great and I just think the world of Jay. On top of that, he's one of the most underestimated performers in the business. He's really good."

Flair signed a multi-year deal with AEW on Thursday, November 2, bringing his energy drink with him as an official sponsor.
