Rickey Shane Page And 44.OH! Take Control Of "Spring Break," Nick Gage Returns At GCW Take Kare

At GCW Take Care, Rickey Shane Page defended his World Championship against Joey Janela with the stipulation that if he won, he would take complete control of this year's Spring Break event. That means everything; booking obligations, profits, trademarks, and more would all have to be transferred to him and his stable.

The two men had a hard-fought match, but the leader of the 44.OH! came out on top after Chris Dickinson interfered and hit Janela with a crucifix-bomb. RSP, shocked by what he just witnessed, crawled over and covered The Bad Boy for the win. Fans proceeded to litter the ring with bottles.

The AEW Superstar had a few golden opportunities, most notably when Effy turned on the 44.OH! just an hour after joining them. Earlier in the night he had lost to Atticus Cogar but accepted the faction's shirt in a seemingly unexpected heel turn. During the main event, Effy entered the ring, kicked RSP in the groin and ripped off the green and black.

After the match, Nick Gage made his return and cleared the ring. He delivered an impassioned promo and told the Champion that he is cashing in for a title match during The Collective weekend in Tampa, Florida. Page, covered in blood, could do nothing but look on in dread. Exact details on when the match will happen have yet to be provided, although commentary speculated that it would be at Spring Break.
