Ricky Saints Wasn’t Stressed About His Name Change, ‘I’m The Same Person At Heart’
When Ricky Saints joined WWE in February, he came in as an unnamed talent, but you knew who he was. Saints went by the name Ricky Starks in AEW, but underwent a name change when he joined WWE.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Saints was asked if he had any worries regarding the name change.
“I wasn’t stressed about it because I’m the same person at heart. Even then, when I’m in the airport, people still call me Starks. ‘Oh, I’m so sorry.’ Either way, you still know how I am. I am appreciative and thankful for that in itself. I didn’t really think about how long it would take, I just knew it would happen and eventually people would be like, ‘I can get with it now,'” he said.
Saints is the reigning NXT Champion.
