Ricochet Defends “Finisher Spam” In Wrestling, Says It Adds More Suspense To A Match
Ricochet is going to bat for “finisher spam”.
The conversation was started by Booker T and Brad Gilmore, who first brought up the topic on a recent episode of their Hall Of Fame podcast. They both argued against the excessive use of finishers in modern wrestling, saying that it is a huge problem.
Pushback came from Ricochet, who said that detractors never seen Dragon Ball Z before.

A fan followed that up and responded to Ricochet by complaining about the excessive amount of finishers in all of AEW’s matches. Ricochet had a quick response, explaining that it can add more suspense to the match.
I disagree.
It gives more suspense. Because in other promotions we KNOW the match isnt gonna end until someone hits their ONLY move that ends the match. So everyone is just sitting and waiting until that one move, knowing the match isn' t gonna end until that happens. https://t.co/5Rqp5l7KDp
