Ricochet Discusses He And Kacy Catanzaro's Chemistry, Praises Stacey Ervin Jr., More

"The One And Only" Ricochet goes over a number of topics.

Ricochet, alongside Velveteen Dream and Aleister Black defeated Adam Cole, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano during 'Halftime Heat'. Ricochet reigned as North American Champion for six months until he lost the title to Gargano at TakeOver: Phoenix. Although there is no clear cut path for Ricochet right now, he does have options and he weighed those options out during an interview with Mirror Sport.

Ricochet talked about what is next for him after losing the North American Title and responded by saying he could enter the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and chase the NXT Tag Titles or go after the NXT Championship.

"Honestly, that's kind of the beauty with losing the title, now anything is open. Whether I want to go for [ Tommaso, whether I want to go for Johnny... anything is real. I don't see that as a setback, I see it as a step forward. An evolution of Ricochet. As soon as I get an opportunity, whether it's for the NXT Championship, the North American Championship, and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is coming up soon, so whether it's the NXT Tag Team Championship... that's the beauty within losing, it's like an open world. There's so many avenues I can go down." He explained.

Ricochet was voted Breakout Superstar Of 2018 by the fans and he was asked about other stars who he could see winning the award for 2019 and he name-dropped Matt Riddle, Keith Lee and pointed out NXT recruit Stacey Ervin Jr. who he thinks is going to be really good. Ricochet also mentioned Kacy Catanzaro who he is dating and talked about the chemistry that they have.

"Kacy and I, we've already had a couple of mixed tag team matches here at NXT that I thought came out really well. We already have a couple of double team moves that we have in our back pocket that we can pull out at any moment. I think that we just match really well, not just being together, but stylistically we go really well together." He explained. "I'm trying to think, I guess that she's the only one that I'd want in my corner."
