Ricochet: I Knew The Gates Of Agony Were Smart The Moment That They Turned On Swerve Strickland

Ricochet praises the Gates Of Agony for turning on Swerve Strickland previously.

Prior to The Gates Of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) joining up with Ricochet as part of The Demand, the team featured alongside Swerve Strickland and more as part of the Mogul Affiliates before eventually turning on Strickland.

While speaking to The Sportster in a new interview, Ricochet spoke about his alliance with The Gates Of Agony, noting that he knew they were smart the moment that they turned on Swerve.

“What’s funny is I knew those guys were smart the moment that they turned on Swerve. That I wasn’t even there at the time, but that’s when I knew these guys were smart. Then when I knew these guys were dangerous is when they were taking on the Hurt Syndicate. They were taking on the Hurt Syndicate and I saw that they were dangerous. I saw that they had that killer’s edge. I saw that they had it within them, and I knew those were two guys that not only do I feel comfortable having by my side, but I know that they will also at the same time, they feel comfortable with me and they will- just like I will do what I need to do to make sure that they win, they will do everything to make sure that I win as well. So we just watch each other’s back and traveling the road and getting to talk to them and getting to learn about them and getting to really know them, that’s been really great too as well because we’ve all kind of just bonded over. Honestly, we’re all pretty similar and we all kind of like the same things and we all like the same music and so that’s actually been pretty good to help us form our connection for the demand and for the group as a whole to grow. So it’s been great, and obviously it’s been paying off nicely. Now, like I said, at the Full Gear media scrum, these two sharks smell blood in the water right now, and they they’re kind of hungry for some gold themselves.”
