Ricochet Returns To Dragon Gate, Will Face Eita On November 3

Ricochet is returning to Dragon Gate after a two year absence.

Dragon Gate's English Twitter account revealed the news earlier this morning. Ricochet is set to face Eita at the Edion Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan:

The Rock Thanks Gallus For Helping Him Train Ahead Of WrestleMania XL

This is an interesting move, because it was only last month that Ricochet finished up with New Japan Pro Wrestling. He and Ryusuke Taguchi, who had just won the IWGP Jr. Tag Team titles back in August, lost to Roppongi 3K. After the match, Ricochet thanked his tag team partner and also thanked Ryusuke Taguchi. He wasn't on the latest tour that's going on now, and with this jump to Dragon Gate it seems like he's left the promotion altogether.

Ricochet's return to Dragon Gate comes at a time when his future looks to be up in the air. It has been reported in recent weeks that he isn't looking to take any indy dates after January, and with his Lucha Underground contract expiring soon, it's possible that a promotion like WWE would be interested in him.

Ricochet wrestled for Dragon Gate from 2010-2015, last appearing with the promotion in a tag team match, teaming with Matt Sydal to unsuccessfully challenge then champions Naruki Doi and Yamato for the Open the Twin Gate tag team titles.
