Ricochet wants The Rock to end the reign of Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns is currently on one of the longest winning streaks in company history. Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship for over 750 days, but that didn't stop him from beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to also capture the WWE Championship. Reigns also hasn't been pinned or submitted since December 15, 2019.
Fans have long clamored for Reigns to have a matchup with a fellow Samoan family member in The Rock. Some fans even expect the bout to happen at WrestleMania 39, which is sporting a Hollywood theme.
In a new interview with NBC Sports Boston, Ricochet was asked who will end up defeating Roman Reigns for both of his titles and why it will be The Rock.
"Yeah, I mean because The Rock is just the best in the world. Who else is it gonna be, you know what I mean? I mean, Roman is on a freaking roll right now, I’d like to get my hands on him too. I think, I know Roman is Roman but I’m never gonna say nobody will beat me. I’m not ever gonna say that, you ain’t never gonna find that. But, The Rock is just, I mean.. I don’t even know what to say. What can you say? He can do anything he wants to do.”
Despite not wrestling since 2013, The Rock has kept his head in the world of wrestling. His production company, Seven Bucks Productions, produced a Paige biopic in 2019 titled 'Fighting With My Family'. The company is also working on 'Tales From The Territories', which is set to air on Vice TV in the future.
