US Title bout official for WWE SummerSlam.
On tonight's episode of WWE Raw, Ricochet won a five-person gauntlet match to earn a shot at AJ Styles and the United States Title at SummerSlam. Ricochet was the last man to enter the match, defeating Andrade to secure his shot at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio, who scored victories over Sami Zayn and Cesaro.

Styles and Ricochet have been engaged in a heated rivalry for the past month, beginning with Styles scoring a non-title victory over Ricochet. Shortly after, Ricochet got the better of Styles, leading to Styles reforming The Club with Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. Styles has gotten the latest laugh in the feud, taking the US Title from Ricochet at Extreme Rules.
