Most WWE superstars have a CGI animation as part of their entrance, but only one has birds flying out of his feet.
When Riddle kicks off his flip flops in the ring, CGI doves come flying at fans.
Speaking to Ryan Satin on Out of Character, Riddle explained the genesis of the doves.
"I was told, 'Riddle, we want to do this CGI when you kick off your flops, we're gonna have birds, doves, fly out.' I was like, 'Doves? I'm the US Champion, why not like an Eagle?' They're like, 'An eagle is a little too big.' I was like, 'How about a stallion? Whay don't we have horses running out of my feet? That'd be sweet.' 'Horses are too big.' 'Bird? Why birds?' They go, 'Vince really likes the birds.' I go, 'You know what, if Vince likes the birds, I freakin love these birds.' Bird city, I'm birdman. Let's do it. The fact that Vince thought they were so cool and awesome, then I think that's cool and awesome. I don't really argue about stuff too much. I'm very laid back. I think that's also why I have so much success. I don't politic much. I just have a good time and work well with others," he said.
Riddle went on to say he is still searching for the elusive hug from Vince McMahon.
Riddle is currently one-half of the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions alongside Randy Orton. If you missed anything from WWE Raw, check out Fightful's full report on the show by clicking here.
