Ridge Holland Says He’s Feeling ‘Really Good’ After Surgeries

Ridge Holland says he’s feeling good after surgeries.

Last November, Ridge Holland underwent neck surgery for a C5 to C7 artificial disc replacement. A few weeks before that, he suffered a Lisfranc foot injury and had to go for surgery for that as well.

Speaking with Mike Rand on The Mike Rand Show, Ridge Holland discussed his multiple surgeries in the past few months. Holland had multiple surgeries in the past few months and feels that he donated his body to medical science.

“I’m feeling really good. Honestly, tons better than what I was. I had the foot surgery in early October. Then I had the double cervical disc replacement in early November, and then just this past Friday, I had the hardware taken out of the foot. So, fingers crossed that’s the last time I’m going to get cut for a while. I’m kind of over surgeries. I feel like I’ve donated my body to medical science recently. But I’m feeling good, man. I’m optimistic about the future.”

When asked how he was feeling during this period, Holland said it was challenging for him mentally. He said:

“Very challenging just from a mental standpoint. I’m a very active individual. Having to be laid up and rely on other people, my wife’s been a big support, and obviously not being able to kind of be active with the kids has been a big thing. But you’ve got to kind of take a step back and realize that it’s all for the greater good and to recover because you don’t want anything to push it too hard or push it too far. It impacts your recovery, and the last thing I want to do is be out of action or not be able to be fully functional for longer than I need to be.”

Last month, Ridge Holland provided a health update saying he’s cleared for unrestricted physical exercise. Fans can read more about it here.
