RJ City refuses to take credit for the tremendous tale of "Timeless" Toni Storm.
Despite his best efforts, Saraya tried to give RJ all the credit for the angle's conception during his recent appearance on her Rulebreakers podcast. RJ explains that he didn't want to take credit for everything because of how many other players were involved and how much of the original conception of the angle did not turn out as initially intended.
As such, he feels it would be disingenuous to take credit for such a popular storyline.
"First of all, I will say it's so wrong. So many things happen by accident, and so many people are involved in making this happen, sure, including yourself, including, obviously, Mariah May, including Luther the butler, millions and millions of people behind the scenes, and Harley [Cameron] and Ruby [Soho] and like all that stuff laid the groundwork for all, and so many things happen by accident. So many things did not turn out the way they were initially intended, and it's unfair to take credit for anything."
As of this writing, Toni Storm is the winningest AEW Women's World Champion. She is on her fourth run with the championship. She will next defend the title against Mina Shirakawa at AEW Double or Nothing.
