RJ City: I Opened Pandora's Box With Bow Wow, I Aim To Rectify It

RJ City wants to make things right by handling Bow Wow.

City hosts Hey! (EW), a weekly digital series, for AEW where he interviews various members of the roster. In one memorable episode, Swerve Strickland called out Bow Wow, which led to a feud between the rapper and TBS Champion Jade Cargill. The rivalry was mostly limited to social media, but Cargill confronted Bow Wow at a concert, and AEW played footage of the situation on AEW Dynamite.

Speaking with Digital Spy, City was asked about whether he feels responsible for starting the feud between Cargill and Bow Wow. City expressed his regret for opening "Pandora's Box", and he made it clear that he wants to make it right. He stated that, if AEW does anything with the rapper, he wants to "end" him.

"That was really a Pandora's Box, and I opened it like a fool. I just have tremendous regret and I aim to rectify it. Please give me Bow Wow. If this company does anything with Bow Wow, please let me end him on the show," City said.

Strickland calling out Bow Wow was one of the many unexpected moments that Hey! (EW) has hosted. In another, City and William Regal read a scene from Coronation Street. Looking back on it, City recalled how he found the scene and didn't tell Regal ahead of time. Instead, they read through it on the spot, and Regal jumped right in.

"I sat through a lot of Coronation Street to find a scene that was appropriate for both of us to do. What I also love is that it was something I didn't discuss with him, he's just willing to do it. He jumps right in which is just great. Then we infiltrated the Coronation Street demo. Where else can you hear William Regal reciting Coronation Street? Although I'm sure he probably does privately in his own home," City said.

City recently discussed potentially having Hey! (EW) on AEW TV. Check out his comments here.

In another interview, City stated that he wants to have Jake Roberts on the show. More information is available here.
