Speaking to Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Road Dogg, who worked with WWE and NXT as a producer and writer until he was released in January, revealed he's had a helping hand with the show.

"I'm working pretty closely with those in the know about this Ric Flair Last Match and the show and FITE TV. I'm working behind the scenes on that show. I'll say that much. I just want to leave it there for now because I'm doing a lot of consulting and now hands-on. We'll see when it comes show time how hands-on I'll need to be," he said.

Road Dogg has openly admitted that he has been "begging Tony Khan" for a job and has said he would return to NXT if offered a spot. You can find his full comments regarding AEW and WWE employment options by clicking here.
