At the Premium Live Event in mid 2025, Logan Paul and John Cena would meet Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in a tag team main event. As the match devolved into chaos, Cena would use his WWE title as a weapon against Cody Rhodes, only for R-Truth to return and attack Cena, costing he and Paul the bout after Truth had previously announced his WWE exit.
While speaking in the second episode of the show’s second season, Road Dogg noted that he began crying right after realizing that Truth was under the disguise.
“I knew it was Ron Killings immediately because of his ankles. (laughs) I know that sounds funny, but like, I knew his ankles. I started crying right then.”
Elsewhere in the same episode, Bruce Prichard shared that Truth’s new WWE deal was not signed until the day of WWE Money In The Bank 2025. You can read more about that here.
