The former TNA Champion recently shared a photo of himself and two of his co-stars, which prompted some fans to comment on his less-than-youthful appearance.

The film is currently scheduled to release in 2021.

~ Triple H held a media call this week ahead of tomorrow's NXT TakeOver: WarGames, and was asked about WWE's willingness to work with other promotions.

"We're open for business in a lot of ways and a lot of things. ... It just depends on what they are and if they're beneficial to us in the long-term," he said.

Bullet Club's Tama Tonga replied online with a Tweet that echoes the sentiment of former stable member AJ Styles' entrance music.

~ Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald sat down with Lacey Evans ahead of this Sunday's 18th annual Tribute to the Troops event, and asked the WWE Superstar what the show means to her.

"It's just a motivated way that we can give them an outlet, a distraction from the struggle that their families face every day. Me being prior military myself, these events, like this, from people that actually care about what they go through really just distracts from their every day hustle and bustle, trying to provide for their families and the stress of being active duty, the stress of being a veteran, and it's cool, they get to escape. It's an escape for them to have some fun and let loose and be thanked for what they go through and for their service."

~ On the latest edition of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff spoke about story architecture and the need for "threads" that tie through the beginning, middle, and end of an episode. Transcription via Wrestling Inc.

"That's how you grow an audience during the course of an hour as opposed to getting a big tune in, leveling off during the middle of the show, and if you're lucky, maybe pumping your number towards the end. That's simple basic fundamental storytelling that will never ever, ever change! Whether it's a book, an infomercial, a movie, or yes indeed, a wrestling show."

While some argue that the audience and their viewing habits have changed, the former WCW President believes that the problem lies amongst the people that produce the programs, chalking it up to a "lack of discipline."

The full episode also features discussions about his dismissal from WWE in 2005, living next door to Vince McMahon, and his desire to perform on camera.

The challenge appears to have been accepted.

~ A WWE Network Exclusive clip shows a backstage encounter between Bayley and Bianca Belair. The former SmackDown Women's Champion called herself the true (b)EST of WWE, before having her "dusty" style and uneven hairdo mocked. ~ “Stone Cold” Steve Austin spoke about what the late, great Pat Patterson meant to his own career and the careers of so many other WWE Superstars.

“When I first came into WWE many years ago, I always heard Pat Patterson was this great wrestling mind. One of the funniest guys I ever met. He always had this smile on his face and he liked to have a couple of cocktails as well. Pat's one of the best dudes in the history of the business. He's the guy who's contributions to the business are incredible. First and foremost, as a performer in the ring and as the first Intercontinental Champion. A lot of people know him for being one of Vince McMahon's stooges, along with Gerry Brisco, and those guys were so entertaining together. Along with the fact that he invented, basically, the original format for the Royal Rumble. His biggest contribution to the business, along with the great body of work, was all of the knowledge that he passed to all of the Superstars who came through those doors. So instrumental in my career, really in The Rock's career, but really in every WWE Superstar who came through those doors, he would bestow knowledge and learnings and psychology, and ways to take things further, and further, and further. A way to push the envelope as far as creativity, and I'm going to miss him. I'll say this, Pat Patterson is gone but he will always be remembered, and that dude lived one of the craziest, most fun, interesting, and amazing lives anybody has ever lived. Bottom line!"
