Rob Van Dam Has No Plans To Sign With WWE Or AEW; Teases A TV Appearance Related To Wrestling

Rob Van Dam is headed back to TV but it's not for WWE or AEW.

Rob Van Dam is a WWE Hall of Famer and has been a major part of professional wrestling since joining ECW in the mid-90s.

Rob Van Dam had perhaps his highest level of success when he became the WWE Champion but these days, Rob Van Dam is happy in his new chapter focusing on his line of CBD products being newly married to Katie Forbes.

Speaking with an old rival in Rene Dupree on Cafe de Rene, Rob Van Dam revealed that currently, there are no plans for him to join WWE or All Elite Wrestling to wrestle on a full-time basis again.

"I'm not sure if you said WWE or AEW, but the answer be the same on either one. Nobody. I'm not talking to anybody that's significant. I'm still doin' some shots I'm still wrestling, you know, but it's indie stuff now, and usually, it's people overseas that can they can afford RVD's rate over the regular running indies."

Rob Van Dam did tease that he would be appearing on a television show that rhymes with “Rawtopsy,” but said he couldn't speak too much about the project.

"The only thing I can think of as far as next time that I would expect to see me pop up on TV, not being a rerun would be -- I don't think I could talk about this. Well, let's just say I did a show that rhymes with 'Rawtopsy.' One that everyone will wanna watch because it's about one of our brothers. So but that's supposed to be airing in spring or whatever. Always got a lot of stuff going on, but I cannot tell you where to watch for me on a wrestling show, because no plans to speak of as of right now."
