Robert Stone Reveals He & Oney Lorcan Teach Tag Team Class At WWE Performance Center

Stone and Lorcan are teaching the tag teams of NXT.
Robert Stone has managed talent on-screen in WWE, done commentary for WWE’s EVOLVE program, been an assistant NXT General Manager, and is currently serving as the interim General Manager of NXT.
In addition to those roles, Stone is also teaching a class at the Performance Center in Orlando. He revealed on Busted Open After Dark that he and former NXT Tag Team Champion Oney Lorcan teach a tag team class.
“I’ve been here long enough, and trainees know that I’ve been here long enough, and that I’m experienced, so yeah, they’ll come up to me after their matches and ask me if I saw anything or what I would do different; that kind of stuff. Plus, also, I twice a week now help teach a tag team class here on Wednesdays and Thursdays… Me and Chris Girard/Oney Lorcan. We help some of the tag teams out. Just, you know, learn simple psychology in tag team wrestling and basics for new guys, and that’s been fun and I didn’t realize how fun that would be for me… It almost kind of lit a new fire under me, because I haven’t gotten to do that in a while because I don’t regularly wrestle. I don’t get to put matches together so getting in the ring and kind of directing and helping, and seeing them actually learn and put it to use on live events, it’s been pretty cool.”
Lorcan has not wrestled in a sanctioned match since 2022. After leaving WWE as a talent, he was brought back to the company as a full-time coach.
As for Stone’s in-ring career, he said he has no problem with his full-time career being over.
