Chelsea's manager, Robert Stone, appeared on The Bump to announce that his client would be facing in-ring competition on tonight's episode of NXT. Chelsea was supposed to appear in the women's Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Portland, but it was determined by Robert Stone that that would not be a suitable debut for his client. During his appearance, Stone touted Chelsea Green as the future face of NXT and their women’s division.

Speaking of the NXT women's division, the NXT Women's Championship recently underwent a name change, ridding itself of the gender specification. Learn more about that here.
