After wrestling in a match (technically) at WrestleMania 32, WWE legend The Rock was absent from this year's event.
While at the premiere of Baywatch in Miami, The Rock told reporter Chris Van Vliet why he couldn't appear in Orlando at the big event.
"No I didn't get a chance to, I was shooting at that time. We were just wrapping up Ballers in LA so I didn't get a chance to make it," said the former WWE Champion.
Even though he's far more committed to Hollywood than wrestling these days, The Rock credits his improv work with WWE in helping him on-screen.
"That was the fun part of this movie. We wanted to make sure that we nailed the tone we also wanted to make sure that we took advantage of the rated R platform. If you've seen the movie, there's a lot of things that are very funny and they're clearly rated R," said The Rock.
Baywatch premieres on May 25 in the United States.
