The Rock Makes Cody Rhodes Bleed, Says He'll Teach Cody About Hard Times On 3/25 WWE Raw

The Rock kept his promise.

The Rock made a surprise appearance on the March 25 episode of WWE Raw and confronted Cody Rhodes. He whispered something to Cody that was not picked up by the microphones. When asked about it, Cody said that it was a promise that The Rock would not be later to keep.

In the main event, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins made the save when Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa tried to interfere in Jey Uso's match against Shinsuke Nakamura. Once Jey scored the win, Cody brawled with Jimmy up the ramp and into the backstage area. The Rock then attacked Cody from behind and overpowered him.

The Rock talked plenty of trash and dragged Cody into the parking lot, where it was raining. He told the world to look at their hero as he was laid out. The Rock made Cody bleed as he proceeded to target Mama Rhodes as he took off his belt and wiped Cody's blood on it.

The Rock told Mama Rhodes that he would keep his promise by giving her that belt at WrestleMania. He then told Cody that his father, Dusty Rhodes, did not know about hard times, but "The Final Boss" would teach Cody all about them at WrestleMania 40, where he and Roman Reigns will face Cody and Seth Rollins.
