The Rock Opposes Under Armour's Pro-Trump Stance

The Rock spoke out in opposition to recent comments by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank praising new U.S. President Donald Trump.

Plank, appearing on CNBC, described Trump as a "pro-business president" and "a real asset for the country."

The Rock, who has a partnership with the company, responded on Instagram, noting that Plank's comments "are neither my words, nor my beliefs."

The Rock isn't the only celebrity affiliated with Under Armour to oppose Plank's remarks. NBA star Stephen Curry, who is sponsored by Under Armour, told The Mercury News that Plank's remarks on Trump was accurate "if you remove the 'et' from asset."

Here is The Rock's full response, posted on his Instagram page:

The Rock has been rumored to consider a future in politics himself, making comments in multiple interviews late last year that he might consider a run for office -- maybe even the Presidential election in 2020.
