The Rock Says It's Doubly Tough For Women In WWE, Calls Daughter Simone Johnson 'Badass' In The Ring

The Rock continues to show his support and love for his daughter Simone Johnson as she ventures into life as a WWE superstar.

Simone officially reported to the WWE Performance Center in February to begin her training at the age of 18. She had been going to the Performance Center on-and-off since 2018 while also attending school.

Speaking to Access, The Rock commented on how his daughter is doing at the Performance Center.

"I'm very proud of Simone. She's been training to become a WWE (superstar) and I'm so proud of her. That world is a difficult world, not only to be in, but a difficult world to make it in. It's doubly difficult when you're a woman. She goes in there and not only has big shoes to fill and is well aware of our family name but also has this desire to create her own path, which is the best part. She goes in humble, hungry, and is a student every day and wants to learn. She's badass. She kicks ass (in the ring)," he said.

It is unknown when Simone will have her first match in WWE or NXT.
