Rocky Romero On A Potential Bullet Club Revival In AEW: Never Say Never
Rocky Romero could see a future for Bullet Club in AEW.
Despite the faction being retired in NJPW, AEW is currently home to many Bullet Club sub-groups like the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs.
When it comes to the possible revival of the actual Bullet Club in AEW, Rocky Romero says that he could see it happening.
“It’s a valuable IP and something that’s not owned by WWE or AEW, but AEW is a partner of New Japan.
The licensing there would be pretty easy to get done. you never say never. I think it’s good to take a little
break right now. We did get a very solid run of Bullet Club and however it comes back next time, whether
it’s a nostalgia thing and it’s some of the former Bullet Club guys getting all together or if it’s something
that’s completely brand new like War Dogs was. I think it’s an important part of professional wrestling
history and I think, like you said, it’s valuable and people know it and people know the logo and the name
and it’s got an amazing history. You look at some of those New Japan YouTube videos that explaining the
Bullet Club history, they have millions and millions and millions and millions of views. It’s really cool
that the world knows this obscure professional wrestling group that really gained the attention of the
world and look at all the people who came through Bullet Club and where they are now at the very, very
top of professional wrestling. It’s pretty crazy.”
